The promenade is within 500 yards, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, which has services into Blackpool and Fleetwood, taking away the hassle of traffic and parking. The cottage is well placed for exploring the Fylde Coast, with the traditional seaside resort of Thornton-Cleveleys less than a mile away. The fishing town of Fleetwood, 2 miles away, attracts many visitors with its Marine Hall, museum, market and the popular Freeport Outlet Shopping Village. The lively seaside resort of Blackpool, with its many attractions including the famous Tower, Pleasure Beach, zoo, the indoor Sandcastle Waterpark, Sea Life Centre and Madame Tussauds waxworks, is just 5 miles away. For a more laid-back seaside experience, Lytham St Annes with its championship golf courses and good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés is 10 miles away. Due to its proximity to the motorway network, the cottage also makes a great touring base.
