    The Space:

    Welcome to Leisure Lodge - a four-season getaway full of fun and adventure. In an excellent locale, your retreat is tucked away in a pine forest with 5 acres of woods to hike and explore. (The entire south side of the forest borders state hunting land, too!) Crystal Mountain is also minutes away, and the Betsie River is just down the road. At home, find plenty of space to spend time together. A welcoming open floor plan seamlessly connects the living room and family room, so you’ll never feel separated from what’s happening with everyone. A cabinet of board games and movies invites memorable nights at home - complete with a cozy fireplace. In the well-equipped kitchen, a full suite of stainless steel appliances provides everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals. Outside, a grill and alfresco dining set are perfect for throwing a barbecue - break out the provided yard games while dinner sizzles on the grill. As evening falls, gather around the firepit and swap stories under the stars. WHAT’S NEARBY Just 6.6 miles from home, Crystal Mountain offers excellent skiing and golf, as well as ATV and snowmobile trails (one just 25 feet from the home!). You’ll also find the Betsie River less than a mile down the road, with a kayaking/canoe landing just two miles down. Frankfort and Lake Michigan can be reached in 18 miles, and downtown Traverse City is 27 miles away. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming is available using your own account. Great Stay

Perfect place for our family get away. I loved that we were close to so many things yet secluded to simply be together when we were at the house. Great space, great memories.

Everything was great! Easy check in and check out. Beautiful property that’s close to a lot of the lakes and attractions but far enough away for that country feeling. Property worked perfect for my extended family’s summer vacation.

Perfect for small groups

Wanted a quick weekend getaway up north and this house was perfect for it. Lots of space for 9 adults and great amenities (large fully stocked kitchen, grill, fire pit, TVs, etc). Central to lots of activities in the area. Very clean and updated house. Would stay again!

Family vacation

House was very clean and kitchen had everything you could need. Plenty of room for a large family to enjoy. House was close to Frankfort, dunes and Traverse city.

Wonderful house!

We recently spent a week at this rental property and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making check in and communication seamless throughout the entire stay.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean and well cared for rental!

Spacious Get-Away

This home was a great escape for our group. It is so close to Crystal Mountain and other fun locations. We visited the Arcadia sand dunes and Frankfort. The space was perfect and relaxing. Wish the weather would have been just a little nicer so we could have used the fire pit. We would love to go back again!

Great, fresh, new place!

Leisure Lodge is brand new with everything clean and fresh and properly functioning. It is well stocked with everything you need - just bring your own food. It is located within a short distance to so many fun areas and displays the best of the northwest lower peninsula. We'll surely be back for more family fun!

Just perfect!

This property is secluded and extremely nice and comfortable inside and out. If you’re booking a trip up north to get away or have plans to go enjoy some outdoor activities on Crystal Mountain, this is the place to be. Very large and self explanatory, all thing in home are labeled and easy to locate. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable stay especially if you have a larger group and everyone wants to sleep comfortably.

Early Fall Getaway

We went up to the Lodge for an early fall getaway. We've stayed at this residence before and loved how homey it felt to us. We love driving up to Traverse City, going out to eat, do some shopping and going to Altonen Orchards, to get the states BEST honey crisp apples. Even if it's raining, the owners have a nice assortment of games and movies to enjoy. Will definitely be back again.

4 DAY GIRLS WEEKEND GETAWAY

THIS HOME WAS PERFECT FOR OUR LONG WEEKEND GETAWAY. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, WAS THERE. ALL WE NEEDED TO BRING WAS OUR FOOD, DRINK, CLOTHES AND GOOD FRIENDS. THEY HAD DVD'S, GAMES AND A GREAT FIRE PIT TO ENJOY. IT WAS A WONDERFUL VACATION SPOT....CLOSE TO SO MANY SIGHT SEEING DESTINATIONS ON OUR LIST. NOW THAT WE KNOW HOW LARGE THIS HOME REALLY IS, WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK AND BRINGING MORE FRIENDS NEXT TIME.

Clean, spacious, organized

We skied all weekend at Crystal Mountain, which was an easy 10 min drive from the house. It snowed a lot the night we got in… went skiing the next morning & came home to a plowed driveway, which was very pleasant surprise!! The property is surrounded (front and back) by woods! It’s Very pretty! Would definitely stay there again! More than enough space for our family of 6! You Could have 2 families stay there, easily!

Comfortable, clean and spacious stay

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home, which has enough room for two families. It was nicely decorated with modern amenities. Wifi signal was great and we appreciated the smart TV. We had everything we needed. We had a little trouble opening the lock upon arrival and had to wait about 15-20 minutes on hold before someone was able to talk to us. Once we got into the property, we had no issues after that and had a great stay. Location is a bit isolated. It's about 35 min drive from Traverse City, 30 min from Frankfort and Arcadia, and 15 min from Interlochen. The closest Family Fare we found for groceries was about 15 min away.
