We really appreciated how spacious (much more so than one might expect from outside) and well-equipped this apartment proved to be. (Inside it really feels like a house, though it's the south end unit of a 4-unit row house, essentially a double duplex.) The living room is furnished with very comfortable recliners, adequate floor lamp lighting, and a large "smart tv." The highly functional kitchen, though it has no dishwasher, is one of the largest and best supplied that we've ever rented, and the bathroom is especially nice, with its 2 sinks, excellent shower head (and tub), and very ample storage. The bedrooms are also nice-sized, and the whole place is very comfortable and easy to make one's home for a week (as we'd initially planned, in relation to a hospital visit in nearby Urbana, though we ended up needing to depart early). The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to reach from Highway 45 (which itself lies not too far off I57). Locally in Thomasboro there's only a small grocery, but it's pretty quick and easy to drive north a few miles to the larger town of Rantoul or south about 10 miles to Urbana-Champaign to buy groceries or go out for meals. Communication with the host was immediate, clear and helpful, and we found the whole place the best (and best priced, for the size and amenities) possible base for our daily trips for medical attention in Urbana for one member of the family.
