"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "The Lodge was impeccably clean, warm and well equipped. The bed and seating were comfortable and all the furniture and kitchen appliances appeared to be brand new.The lodge i situated about 50 yards from the car parking which could have been awkward for us in our eighties had Graham not appeared to assist us with our luggage,Overall a most enjoyable stay."

"The location was ideal as we were attending a family wedding at the barns so very short staggering distance.
Compact but cosy, comfy bed and all equipment that you might need for a short stay. Nice seating area outside to enjoy your morning coffee.
Wouldn't say it was peaceful but then we live in the countryside where we only get the occasional tractor and few cars so the constant hum of traffic was loud to us. It didn't disturb our sleep though.Steps up to cabin are steep and narrow so care...

We stayed here for a couple of nights for the end part of our road trip, whilst visiting around cities and towns, it was great, it was nice and secluded too. "

"We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and everything is really well considered. It has a lovely fireplace with more than ample wood...

"Very clean and well kept lake and accommodation.
Great set up and not overlooked or overcrowded like other places.
Regular updates on day of arrival, Friendly staff. Hot tub was set up ready for arrival.
Fishing wasn’t too bad, no big fish but plenty of small stuff to keep busy if you can find a non weedy spot."
