"We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again."

"Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. "

"The property was spacious and clean, with full kitchen and a wide range of pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. Wifi worked well. The location was awesome, just a short walk to Elk Lake, and a short drive to the village of Elk Rapids, plus Traverse City and the whole wonderful area! Lot's of fruit and pie stands along the roads, and orchards everywhere!"

"Had such a relaxing stay here. Cottage was super clean and the whole process was smooth. "

"This was a family get together. The location and home exceeded our expectations. From the easy check in to all the amenities available we were very pleased. We enjoyed the provided kayaks and paddle boards. The fire pit got plenty of use. Everything we needed, except maybe a better wine opener. The accommodations made for a perfect week. Thanks Trevor. "Had such an incredible stay at the River Falls Cottage! Perfect blend of seclusion and city access with a quick 15 min drive into downtown Traverse. House was very clean and updated, the hot tub and steam shower were amazing features to have after an adventure filled day on the river or visiting wineries. Communication with host was great, resourceful and prompt. We hope to be back again very soon!"

"Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus war fantastisch. Morgens aufwachen mit dem Blick über den ruhigen See, Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Es war fast schade dann zu den Ausflügen nach Traverse City oder Big Bear Dunes aufzubrechen. Die Kayak Runde um die Inseln am Nachmittag war das tägliche Highlight. Dann den Weber Grill angeschmissen und die Tage am Lagerfeuer ausklingen lassen.Die Wohnungseinrichtung ist geschmackvoll und die Wohnung ist sehr sauber.Besser kann der Urlaub nicht sein."

"This was a lovely cottage with a great location. The dock out back was great and so convenient for our boat that we brought with us. The water toys provided were put to good use. Across the road was direct access to walk out to the famous sandbar. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The new grill was great for cooking and the fire pit near the water was awesome. Minor issues include 1 parking spot directly in front of the cottage and due to the heavy traffic on Crystal Beach Rd, it is hard...

"This is our second stay this summer! Everything clean, beds are comfortable and the lake view and dock can't be beat. Centrally located near the Narrows makes getting everywhere easy. Comforts of AC, dishwasher, outdoor shower, filtered drinking water tap much appreciated. Last s'mores of the summer around the campfire will be happy memories!"

"The house was awesome and in a great location. We loved being able to walk to the beach and to stores/ restaurants. Loved the back yard as well. We did a big group dinner outside. "

The house was clean, the location was near many places (drive in, sleeping bear sand dunes, grocery, downtown tc) the backyard was nice & fenced in with the river a few feet away and the communication with management was great. It is on community shared property which turned out to be fine!We had a wonderful time! "

"Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks"
