"Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. "The Harbo studio was cute and very clean. We loved the accommodations for our Pug. However, it got very cold in the room, so we were supplied with a space heater. It did fine once we got in and turned it on, but when we arrived back after a chilly day, it was 65 or less since the heater can't be left on unattended. "
