"I hadn't had a vacation in about 2 years and needed a getaway. My husband and I originally had other plans, but work got in the way so we had to change them. We found the host and his cabin on Vrbo for a short stay and it was amazing! It was clean, welcoming, on a small lake with a dock, or a fire pit to sit and relax at. It was everything for a nice quiet weekend. The host was close by if we needed anything, yet we still had a nice private cabin. It was so fun and the area had tons of outdoor...

"This was a beautiful property and great place to get away for spring break. It was still pretty cold mid-April so we didn't get to enjoy the boats and lake activities, but still enjoyed sitting by the fire and taking in the views. The hot tub was a great way to warm up too. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the house had everything we needed."

"Has all the things you need, coffee maker, soap, great fluffy towels, fire pit (but full disclosure, we didn't use it).. If you're seeing a concert or going to Interlochen,this is the place for you. Eight minute drive. No traffic.If you're looking for somewhere local (a bar) don't know that this works, but if you're looking to chill and party privately - you've found it. "

"We were greeted by the very friendly owner almost as soon as we arrived! It was a very cozy and quiet area in an adorable town. We received a complimentary upgrade to a larger cabin with a view of beautiful Fife Lake!We got take out dinners from one of the local restaurants and it was excellent!!!! Overall wonderful weekend!"

"A friend and I enjoy hiking and exploring new areas. We loved the location of this home. It was clean, efficient, and peaceful. First night we listened to the Loons echo across the lake. Unfortunately, we had rainy/windy weather on the other nights that prevented us from hearing them. However, did see one swimming near our cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin for small groups or family."

"Every year after Christmas, my husband and I pick a nice cabin in the UP to just getaway from it all. We usually stay a week to 10 days and just relax. Kristen’s cabin was perfect for us. She didn’t miss anything when it came to making the cabin nice and clean and updated. You have to be careful with the stairs if you’re older like us. But we did fine. "

"We stopped in for a short weekend trip. Atmosphere was very relaxing. The beach area was nice, the cabins were well kept, and we got to chat with the hosts (who are great), and they were very helpful and responsive to questions we had! Would be fun to get a group of people and rent all the cabins down the road!"

"Cabin is immaculate, very well appointed, decor is just lovely....no deer heads on these walls! Comfortable beds, plenty of soft towels and extra pillows/blankets. Nice firepit right beside the river, saw the northern lights our first night! Larry is an excellent host! Stopped in to introduce himself and give a quick walk through of the cabin. He even brought us a pile of firewood! Us girls were on a color tour weekend, and the cabin is very centrally located. Enjoyed the apple festival in...
