"We were disappointed to only have stayed one night. Comfy bed and pillows. Accessible shower with great water pressure. Great kitchen and laundry facilities in room. Really spacious space. "We stayed here with our two small kids (baby and toddler) and it was perfect enough space for the kids to play indoors but also having a little grassy area outside to explore. The location was great very quiet and safe but an easy walk into to town with lots of beautiful scenery and parks to stop along the way. The only minor issue I had was one of the bed linen cover had a few stains which was off putting but not enough that we didn’t still use it. "

"We had a pleasant and comfortable stay here. The view of the lake from our room was wonderful! Our place was very spacious and offered many amenities which we greatly appreciated. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. We were rather disappointed that our place was not serviced despite our leaving out a door tag requesting service. "Loved our overnight at Birdsong! The deck and hot pool were great for bird listening and spotting. We had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Quirky and old school amenities with all the good stuff.If we are being picky We could have done with a second set of towels as we used the hot tub and needed a shower the next morning. Also struggled with the fire as kept going out, maybe flue needs cleaning? Heat pump was more than adequate to keep us all warm and cosy!"

"Angela was a great host. We enjoyed our stay very much, lovely and clean cottage. Perfect location for us being up for a football tournament, we were allowed to access the playing grounds through the gate in the garden, very accessible. Close to the lake and township too.
