"Heating turned on at 20degrees but frankly when it’s minus 7 outside this was not enough. A fan in the bathroom would be good because it’s unreasonable to expect the window to be open when freezing outside. Shower was hard to adjust. A manual when you arrive would be a help too If you had 4 people in this house it would be too small. A simple double bed in the second bedroom would provide a bit more space to move around. Towel rail in the bathroom would be better if you could tirn it off and...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland. "Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely.
