Womderful 3 night getaway
A wonderful place to stay. Minimal stairs from car to door, which makes lugging baggage easy. Excellent view from the kitchen, dining and lounge which gave view of the amazing sunset. No issues with insects during Winter, glass door was wide open to listen to the sound of the waves. Amenitities all included and working, including Netflix and heaters. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach. Close drive to shops and, the boat shed. Communication was prompt. Beds were comfortable with plenty of throws if needed. Kitchen well equipped with plug in oven. Comfortable for our 3 night stay with 2 teenagers and a child under 10. We will certainly be back and will recommend this place.

Fabulous comfortable unit with amazing view
We loved our stay at this property. It had a fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and beds and it is so modern and clean, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Jonathan is a fantastic host. We’d love to visit again and stay longer next time.

short break by the sea
Jonathans apartment was just what was required for our short stay. Two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Large, well appointed bathroom. Great kitchen which was very well equipped and a spacious living area with a beautiful view of the ocean. A walk down stairs straight onto the beach. Close to the Ocean pools and a short walk to The Entrance shops and entertainment area. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting some respite by the sea.

Great basic accomodation by the sea. The kids loved the close access to the beach and the view was to die for. Had a few issues but jonathon was receptive to fix these

Clean Apartment and nice location
Jonathan responded quickly to our enquiries and has been very nice to accommodating our special requirements. The apartment is bright and clean as the pictures in the Ad. Kids loved playing in the sand and pool and came back for a shower and an icecream in the break. We had a great time in the two night stay!

Brilliant Beachfront Location so Amazing Views to enjoy 24/7.
The unit is located in quiet residential area & was the perfect place for our Beach mini getaway. The absolute beachfront location is brilliant if you have children as there's no busy roads to cross or parking hassles to deal with. Being just 2 doors away from The Entrance Surf Lifesaving Club, the beach is very safe as its patrolled. But if you prefer to swim in a pool, the recently refurbished & patrolled Ocean baths are a short stroll away (2 mins) & offers several pools including one each for kids (partly shaded) & lap swimmers. The unit was very well fitted out & included plenty of DVDs & games to keep the family entertained on the rainy day we experienced during our stay. The TV was digital so offered further entertainment via the free Wi-Fi. The unit's living area was quite spacious & having a small balcony was the perfect place to enjoy the ocean view, a quiet glass of wine & made for a wonderful spot to find my Zen at the end of the day. All the 3 beds were comfortable & the 2 bedrooms were fitted with remote control ceiling fans for added comfort. The modern kitchen was perfect for preparing all the family meals whilst the laundry facilities in the bathroom were a great added bonus. The nearest supermarket (No deli) is a 2 minute drive away in The Entrance, or the nearest major shopping center (Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, Kmart & other major retailers) is at Bateau Bay Shopping Centre a 8mins drive away. We will be definitely be returning for a longer holiday in the coming months.

Escape from the ordinary.
Wanted a break away with sea views and peace and quiet. This unit delivered. Closed the front door and opened the balcony, all you hear is the waves breaking gently on the beach below. Best equipped unit I’ve stayed in. Kitchen was well supplied with all we needed. Very comfortable beds. Security gate from the under cover on site parking and path to the unit. The unit itself is Wheelchair/walker accessible. Note are two steps down from the car park to the path and one small step into the unit.

We had a great stay the apartment was amazing and the view was great. Wifi was excellent after the owners upgraded it. The only thing we would change is better light control in the bedrooms as our kids woke up at 5am everyday.

Birds eye view with comfort
I am so glad I booked this gem. Perfectly formed 2 bedroom apartment with well equipped kitchen. Even though we were just a couple this would suit any family too with fabulous views, close access via private steps to the beach, quick access to the public seawater baths, and surrounded by amazing walks . The apartment had everything we wanted and needed and even supplies inside the kitchen for cooking .... lovely hosts ensured we were happy and had everything for our stay. Highly recommended beach holiday even when not hot , we loved it

This property is exactly as pictured, beautiful location with excellent amenities supplied Would benefit if had a/c as small heater just took the chill off, also linen needs to be updated as some pilling on sheets. This is advertised as accessible unit, would benefit from adding handrails in shower & toilet area, my mum found it difficult. On a whole had a great stay, relaxing by the ocean (nearly as good as a cruise)

Weekend of Serenity
If you are looking to escape the concrete jungle and avoid the weekend warrior crowds of Sydney then ‘The Entrance’ is the place to go! Only a short 1.5 hours drive from Sydney door to door you will be greeted with the smell of the ocean as you approach the front door. Not long after that you’ll probably find yourself sipping on a glass of wine on the balcony enjoying the oceanfront view or you may find yourself preparing for a dip in the blissful ocean which is only a hop, skip and a jump down to the sand. A place of true tranquility it is simple yet effective and all you need. When we weren’t enjoying the outdoors we found ourselves laying on the couch listening to the ocean OR hanging on the balcony listening to tunes. There isn’t a downside to this place but you will occasionally hear people walking upstairs from above. We saw this is a good thing because if you aren’t up by the time you hear it you should use that to get you up and get motivated to go and enjoy the day! Will definitely be back and the hosts are very receptive and accommodating to ensure all your needs are met. Location wise it is a great area with it being close to local shops and restaurants as well as a short uber ride into the more bustling town of Terrigal. So stop reading the reviews and use this as verification that if you’re looking for a tranquil and fulfilling weekend getaway I am a case in point that you won’t want to leave come checkout day, enjoy!

Well appointed, clean, comfortable , close to great restaurants and beaches.
Took my 84 yr old mum for a break which she thoroughly enjoyed. Views from the balcony were spectacular and sound of ocean truly relaxing. Great disability access and easy walks all around . Fantastic , free salt water pools very close and again very disabilty friendly with ramp and railings right into water. Very clean and well maintained as well. For myself and hubby , keen kayakers, also great choices in calm lakes and bays as well as a little more challenging surf beaches. Overall a lovely break and a reminder that in this beautiful country of ours, you can enjoy a wonderful holiday only a short drive away. Thanks Jonathan, we'll certainly be back.

Acceptable overall
Location is perfect - balcony looks out onto beach which is steps away... you can hear the ocean waves even with the doors/windows closed, which is nice. It's also really convenient for walking to key areas; didn't need car at all. The unit is generally well kept. Bathroom was generally clean, though I noticed some mold in the floor corners of the shower (I'm picky about stuff like that). Unfortunately you can hear every time someone in the unit above walks across the floor. Maybe it's due to how the units are constructed (wood floors) or heavy-footed people, or maybe a combo of both. Probably can't do much to change it, but it detracts from serenity when trying to have a quiet relaxing weekend. As a result, I was mindful of this for the unit below. Wifi wasn't connected at first, but Jonathan was helpful to resolve. Also I arrived at late at night in the rain, so it took a while to figure out which parking space belonged to the unit (markings are engraved in wall, not painted on the ground). Overall the unit was acceptable and would consider if visiting the area again.

Awesome Place To Stay
Waking to the sound of the waves rolling in every morning, a 50m walk to the ocean and a well appointed and really comfortable apartment made for a brilliant stay.
