"We arrived late so unfortunately didn’t get to experience the food but the bar and restaurant was lovely and we only wish we could have spent more time here. The decor is amazing. Rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very helpful."

"Una posada en un lugar difícil de encontrar (El GPS lleva a un lugar a una milla de distancia) que ofrece alojamiento simple y asequible para visitar, principalmente, Durham. El entorno es residencial y no tiene ningún interés. La habitación limpia y agradable para descansar y poco mas. Hay establecimientos con comida para llevar cerca. Desayuno inglés y servicio muy agradable."

"All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value."
