"Great location for exploring Deep Creek and the surrounding areas! This rental was perfect for our family of 5 (with grown children in their 20s). Upper and lower bedrooms via spiral staircase may be difficult for people with mobilities or with really small children, but it was perfect for us. Walk to excellent pizza at Brenda’s and coffeeshop! Beautiful view of lake from deck with functional gas fire table to enjoy cool evenings. Eleni was very responsive and accommodating- great to work with!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. "Excellent stay, we had a blast with the dogs. Just as advertised. The road was a little daunting to cross, but the picnic table down by the dock made it easy to stay down by the water for the day. Hot tub was great and everything in kitchen worked well (but BYO sugar & K Cups!)"

"This was a very nice getaway. Home away from home. We were able to relax and enjoy each other without feeling like we were in someone else’s home. Shops were close by and the scenes were excellent. There was a problem with the toilet overflowing for the entire time. The TV in the downstairs bedroom didn’t work. We are pleased and will be coming back. We actually wanted to stay an extra night but it was already booked.Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home. "

"My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. "The house was clean and as advertised. It was a short drive to all deep creek has to offer. The only suggestion I have is to add a hook on the inside of the bathroom doors for additional places to hang your towels. Overall would recommend! "
