Great Ski Trip Stay at Wind River 7

We had 12 people stay at Wind River 7 for a long weekend ski trip and it was the perfect property for it. The proximity to the mountain and how safe and quiet the neighborhood is were awesome.

Spacious family condo

Ski in, walk out. Free shuttle to base of resort every 15-30 mins. Very comfortable accomodation, well equipped kitchen and an open fire place. Gorgeous view in a peaceful yet convenient location. Every room has own en-suite with a bath.

Needs update

Overall our stay was fine. Unit is spacious, generally clean, and kitchen was well stocked. Suggestions for improvement:Each bedroom needs a comfortable chairEach bedroom needs a humidifier Condo lacked paper towels, dish detergent, spoons, and firewood upon arrival.

Summer trip to mountains

It was perfect. We had two families and the space enabled the boys and girls to have their own hang out space and adults took over the patio every night. It was really great! We did not realize how far it was from Jackson Hole Main Street. This obviously was our own fault for not checking maps, b it we quickly became pleased to be away from that area and enjoyed the Teton village a ton. All good!

Great

My only complaints were small. The broken wicker chairs on the balcony were quickly replaced. The broken tiles on the fireplace badly need replacing. The sliding glass door to the back porch was very difficult to move. The windows in the dining room need replacing as they were impossible to clean and looked tacky. The dish washer didn't disolve the detergent. Otherwise we had a wonderul time. Thanks.

Amazing experience!

Checkin was easy and on-time. The house was very clean. We were thrilled there was new furniture in the den! Kitchen well stocked. We did buy some spices. All four bathrooms had speciality soaps and shampoos. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, top of the line. Community was quiet, we never heard neighbors. We have stayed at many VRbO’s prior. We highly recommend! Five stars.

Wind River 7 Teton Village

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of Wind River 7. There was pop corn on the carpet in an upstairs bedroom, candy on the floor of a lower floor bedroom, and candy wrappers on the floor of the second bedroom on the lower level. The carpet in the living room carpet was filthy and when we tried to use the vacuum cleaner in the condo we found it was not working. That could have been the problem. There were chips on the coffee table in the living and the nice size tub in a bathroom on the lower level had a layer of dirt and hair and it was obvious it had not been cleaned. The comforters were stained and really should be replaced. The carpet should also be replaced as it is extremely stained and and actually torn up in some areas. This unit is very outdated and is not worth the price paid.

Great location

Place was a great location. Loved it overall. Just a few small issues but management responded quickly and took care of everything for us as soon as it was reported. Only comment to future renters and that owners may want to clarify better is that there are 3 levels. First level 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, second level kitchen, dining and den, Third level 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Did not realize when we rented it was setup like this. It was fine with the exception of the first floor bathrooms. Second bathroom on this floor was not really a fully functional bathroom. It had a big soaking tub which was nice but even though there were shower heads it was impossible to step in and out for shower and there was no shower curtain even if you tried to take a shower. This was not clear in the description as 4 bathrooms was interpreted as 4 bathrooms with a shower in each. Loved everything else about the place

Total Disappointment.

The holes in the carpet, the fireplace tiles in crumbles, the bed jacked up on pieces of wood. The fact that the place sleeps 12, but there is only place for 6 to sit comfortably in the living room. As well as only 8 chairs at the table, we are a family of 10. All of the woodwork in the down stairs where one keeps the boots and coats is very chipped. For the price we paid for this condo, I expected nice! This was anything but. Also on one of the beds there was no comforter, jut a sheet. If you are thinking of renting this place make sure that they have made the improvements that are here listed.

Well located, spacious and comfortable.

Comfortable and spacious condo. Living room with nice forest view. Right next to shuttle for easy access to gondola (or easy walk to Moose lift). Kitchen is very well stocked and bedding was very comfortable.

Great location and space

Perfect for our group of 4 couples. Each couple had their own room with Bathroom for extra privacy, which is hard to find in ski/snowboarding rental houses! Easy walk to lift to take you to the base but you could also take the shuttle that picks you up right in front of the condo. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!!

Location is the best part

This property is all about location: quick walk to the Moose Creek lift and ski home to the door. It’s big and has four big bedrooms that comfortably houses two families, but it is in need of updating.

Girls trip!

The house has a great set up! Lots of sitting space in the living room and plenty of beds and bathrooms! I plus with a bunch of girls! Also walking distance to the village! Would highly recommend!

Nice house with a few flaws

Overall the property was pretty amazing. However there were a few things that disappointed me. 1st the propane was out and we brought food to grill because the grill was listed on the listing. 2nd on the deck, both, there were screws and nails that weren't safe for barefoot individuals. We love being barefoot!! The transition from the kitchen to the carpets had several nails sticking up. The hardwood floor in the kitchen was very loose and slide pinching the bottom of feet. The location was amazing we got to see deer, baby deer, foxes, moose, and eagles. The home was clean and had a lot of kitchen tool to use. One of the last places we stayed only provided the bare essentials. So it was very nice to come to a place the had a lot more than the bare essentials! All and all it was an epic trip, with a wonderful place to stay!! Thank you Wind River!!
