"The house was exactly like described in the ad, it was clean, bed was comfortable, great location, nicely furnished even the kitchen accessories, although we did not use much because our stay was short and was not at the house all that much. Only concern i had was with host but it really was not a big deal, i asked a couple questions about a few items but never got an answer. But overall would rent again, very satisfied and well priced. "Everything about Jefferson House was perfect. It was located in a beautiful part of Connecticut adjoining a state park. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a large island for dining. The bed, pillows and living room furnishings were very comfortable. The house was well up-to-date with two TVs, a charging device with multiple cords, a double oven (!), and countless thoughtful touches. I cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"This is part of a charming farmhouse. It is modern, clean, well-appointed and comfortable with some special touches thrown in, like a pitcher of fresh cream and a bowl of eggs in the refrigerator, along with a loaf of freshly baked bread on the counter (and a half gallon of vanilla bean ice cream in the freezer that I didn't see until the last night!). The bed and sheets were extremely comfortable, great shower and there were enough books and games for any taste. It's well located near some...

"The house was perfect. We came in for my son’s wedding and had family staying from all over- Canada, Arkansas and Florida. The house worked out perfect. All the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a bit of a steep staircase to enter the house which can be tricky for the elderly but completely doable. I would definitely rent this property again if needed."

"It was great!"

"Beautiful setting with an exceptional view of the River. The apartment is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property."

"Great location close to Warner Theater and downtown. Extremely easy to check in, even at night in the dark. Rooms were clean, beds were soft and comfy, everything smelled fresh and clean."

"Once we found the house it was very warm & cozy. The mini- muffins on the counter was a bonus. House mailbox was 87 but address was 89 that you only see if door is closed which it wasn't on 1st 2 passes. Limited exterior lights made coming back at night a challenge. "

"Wonderful stay at this VRBO. Plenty big enough for me and my adult daughter. Sofa bed was good quality and no complaints about sleeping on this matress. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and convenient to everything in Southbury and beyond. If we ever come back to CT, we would absolutely stay here again. 5* accommodations. Host is also very flexible and beyond helpful and very responsive. A for his efforts too!"

"Very clean and comfortable with easy communication with host I recommend this unit to all who want to visit Wallingford or who desire to take the train to ny or Boston etc"

"My unit was exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again. "
