Best spot to stay if you are wanting to go to Terlingua ghost town and Big Bend National Park. The kitchens was stocked up with all the kitchen necessities. They said bring firewood but there was so many left over fire logs in the pits. The views from the ranch were so beautiful. 10/10 I recommend!!!

Highly recommend the stay at Ten Bits Ranch. Great time spent with family to reconnect and take a break from the busy city life. The view to see stars is amazing. My kids got to even see the Milky Way. If we go back to Big Bend definitely will stay there again.

Sis is very attentive and responds much faster than others I’ve stayed with. The breakfast available was much more than I thought. They even had a few board games we could use. This is a perfect place to disconnect from the world. It gets pitch black at 2-4 am when both the moon and sun go down. Perfect for seeing the stars!

Authentic Texas ranch vibe with beautiful viewsWe had a great stay. The ranch has a real Texas atmosphere quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by amazing views. The room was clean, and we appreciated having access to a BBQ and a simple breakfast. Everything was well organized and comfortable.It’s also conveniently located not too far from Terlingua town, which made it easy to explore the area.A couple of small notes: there were no animals on site like shown in some of the photos, and the bed was a bit firm for our preference.Overall, we definitely recommend it, especially room #7.

Beautifully remote

The Ten Bits Ranch was a perfect spot for our family. It had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. It was clean, quiet and remote. The shared kitchen and breakfast was a great perk.

My stay felt warm and definitely welcoming. What stood out to me was the cute rock collection on one of the walls. Star gazing after my hike at Big Bend National Park was beautiful as well. I will be back.

So peaceful and well appointed.

Love view, quiet and the night sky was amazing. Everything we needed was available. This is our second stay and will return.

Great location. Very nice rooms. Check in information was a Room Access code; it didn't specify what the code went to. As there was a key lock box next to the door, we assumed the code went to the lockbox. It took a while to determine the door lock itself had a number code panel on it for the access code to be entered. Better instructions on that would help.

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice. This facility and room were incredibly clean, updated, and had everything you could need. Incredible value for the quality and views!

Great Location and Facilities

My Husband and I wanted a quiet place to use as a basecamp between Big Bend and Davis Mountains. The rooms and shared kitchen facilities were great! I was able to do some dark sky photography as well as exploring the other parts of the ranch.

Great time at Ten Bits Ranch!

First time in the Big Bend area was an experience. We enjoyed staying at the ranch, it was very unique and special. We had everything we needed, would recommend others to stay there. Comfortable beds, hot showers, big skies and lots of stars were just a few of the things one can enjoy while at the ranch. We hiked around the property with our dog, and spent some time at the shooting range. Thank you Sis for letting us stay.

The stars at night burn big and bright...

I 100% would stay at this this place again. We stayed in #7 . The view sad to die for both day and night! The shared cantina was fantastic. Though it was shared we never really saw anyone.

Great View

Great view, great location, relaxed and comfortable. The only issue that we had was the shower drain didn’t work as well as it should. They attempted to fix it right away. I would definitely stay here again.

Private themed property in the hills of Terlingua

Very nice private property. Beautiful night skies. They have really done a nice job to make this off the grid property. Cantina is very convenient and well stocked for continental breakfast. Had a problem with the heat pump the first night and Cowboy came over and corrected the problem. Very responsive. Really enjoyed our stay there. Would stay there again if come back to Terlingua

Not Clean/ Or Well Kept- But Beautiful Location

The host was lovely to cancel my stay when I let her know the property was not in good working order. It was dirty, not well kept, broken furniture, dirty fridge, etc. I appreciate the refund..... The shower smelled so badly and flooded the entire bathroom. The views are gorgeous and the location is great and would absolutely stay if the property had been clean and well kept. I appreciate the host for the refund. She was very nice and responded quickly thank you.

I wasn't sure how comfortable I would be off grid despite all of the comforts of the cabins. The owners did a great job of preparing me and providing instructions. I was really grateful that there was a land line phone in the cantina, since there was no cell service. Also took advantage of their dining recommendations. The room AC was cool, the shower was hot. Would definitely stay there again.

Great basecamp

Had a great time at the Ten Bits Ranch. Great views out the back porch, comfortable accommodations, nice to have the cantina for coffee/quick snacks, and enjoyed the fire pit one night. Good location to serve as a basecamp for exploring the area and park too. Highly recommend!
