Such a cute property very clean and quiet. Able to have nice views with the sunrise and stars. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Just came back from 2 days at Ten Bits (XB) in the Mercantile. The directions and check in process was spot on. The room was bigger than I anticipated from the pictures. Comfortable bed, great A/C, refrigerator and coffee maker. The shower is giant! There is a fire pit outback with great views, especially at sunset. We didn't use the common area kitchen but it was huge with mutliple refrigerators, cook tops and extra water/coffee, bagels etc for breakfast. It was about 20-25 minutes to the park entrance and about 10-15 to Terlingua. Definitely recommend.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect—everything was exactly as described, if not better. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable right away. The host clearly pays attention to detail, making sure every part of the experience feels welcoming and stress-free.The location was ideal, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Gorgeous scenery! Breathtaking views. Check-in was smooth, communication was excellent, and we truly felt at home during our stay.I would highly recommend Ten Bits Ranch to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay. We would definitely book again!

Loved the beautiful setting. The cantina was convenient, supplied breakfast items as well as shared refrigerators. Communication was excellent. I want to come again and stay longer.

Super cool location!

I have a large breed dog that is too big for most rental properties, so when I learned he was welcome here, I didn’t pay attention to much else and just booked it. When I arrived the location was AMAZING. The fire pit was great, excellent location to enjoy Big Bend and Terlingua, and so much personality at the ranch. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful and scenic place!

The road was easy to navigate and we were happy to be able to bring our dog. We loved the comfortable cabin with amazing views out each window, the rocking chairs on both porches to see both sunrise and sunset. The shower was hot, and the room was kept temperate with the split, although we never could get the gas log fireplace to start, even after a call to Sis. The hike up to the cave was nice for a great view. We enjoyed meeting fellow guests in the communal kitchen. We saw a lot of unique rocks and plants, a coyote, and even a magical rainbow while there. It was too early for birds but the quietude was awesome. Not too far from Big Bend, which we also enjoyed. Hoping to return in the spring!

Wonderful!

There is no better place to stay when visiting Big Bend National Park and / or Big Bend State park! Clean and very nice! Shower, heat, AC, sink, microwave, mini refrigerator, rocking chairs, fire place and a fire pit (bring your own wood). A lovely shared kitchen with everything needed. Above all, a spectacular view and lots of land to explore!

Wonderful

We totally enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the peace and quiet of landscape. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. The only negative was that our fireplace did not work in either of the rooms, which we really wanted to use. But overall, I want to return and stay longer.

Unexpected Quality and Comfort

We often visit the Terlingua/Big Bend area and this is now our favorite place to stay. Aside from the distance out of town and away from park (which they clearly mention), it was a perfect stay. Inside our cabin every need was met. Hubby has to have a TV and internet which were superior to anything we’ve had before. Loved the short hike right across the drive to a cave and cliff easy to explore. We will be back.

Just wonderful. The Mercantile is a great place to relax and get refreshed Everything was perfect. Clean relaxing private. You gotta get better access that dirt road is aweful and bumpy. But no internet ment no GPS and this could not find property for over an hour. Signs need to be visible. Yep aid stay there again in a heart beat. but it’s the little things.

Beautiful!

Ten Bits was even better than we imagined. Check in was easy, the room was beautiful and clean, and the views were incredible. The whole place is wrapped in gorgeous scenery. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. We got in late and then woke up early to find it snowing hard, and had to pack up quick. Would have loved to enjoy everything Ten Bits has to offer. Would book again in a heartbeat!
