Bright Clean Cottage on the Bay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tenant’s Harbor. The house was clean, bright and roomy enough for two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved hanging out in the living room as we watched boats going across the bay and the sunrises were gorgeous. We explored the general store, which had everything you might need, and friendly cashiers. We ate delicious meals at the Eastwind Inn, and explored Camden and Rockland from the cottage. The road noise did not bother us but it does happen as the cottage is right on a curve. We loved the location and views.

Great place!
The home was clean and the view from the living room and primary bedroom was just breathtaking. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A great place to unwind and enjoy the fall colors.

Maine - 50th State to Visit
Unbelievable views, well appointed, comfortable sleeping and seating options. Easy to find and in a great area. Served as home base for our daily excursions around the state. Best coffee views! Road noise took a bit to get used to but views made it worth the stay.

A house with a view
We enjoyed our trip very much. First, the good. This house is big enough for our party and is kept very clean. The sofa and lounge chair are comfortable. All-around windows bring in cool breeze and stunning views. Kitchen is adequate for some light cooking. There are nice sitting areas outside facing the ocean and you can lean back and enjoy the view to your heart's content. If you are into stargazing, you will not be disappointed. The nightly sky reveals itself like sparkling beads worn against a black velvet dress. Second, the not so good. We visited during busy vacation season and that could be the reason why the service was a little lacking. We found only one roll of paper towel and no dishwasher detergent even though Vacasa (property manager) suggests us to start dishwashing upon leaving. Message about towel and detergent via Vrbo went unanswered. We just went out and bought the missing items ourselves. Also, the paper towel’s quality was so poor that it broke down on contacting anything wet. Small matter, but it does impact the experience overall. The table and chairs match kind of esthetically. But the chairs are too low for the table (even for adult male of average height) and it is hard to sit and have a meal or play board games comfortably.

What a view!
We absolutely loved this little cottage, so much so, I wish I could take it all home with me. The cottage was light filled and comfortable. I loved the blue and white decor. The outside area had many different choices. I sat out with my coffee every morning, and we enjoyed cocktails out on the Adirondack chairs. I also very much appreciated the air conditioning, as it was an unusually hot week in Tenant's Harbor and there was hardly a breeze to be found. I would highly recommend this cottage and we will be back!

Nice Place
The house is lovely - lots of windows for sunlight, clean, and beautifully decorated. We had a great time. House is, however, VERY close to the road and lawn wasn't mowed until late Sunday (we arrived Friday and were scheduled to leave on Monday) which made lawn games a bit tricky.

Charming + Cozy Cottage by the Sea
We loved our stay at The Salty Cove cottage! The space was neat as a pin and had wonderful modern updates and charming coastal decor. We had everything we needed for the most part. The only thing we needed and didn’t find was a pizza pan. We loved how comfortable the beds and living room furniture were. The real star of the show however, was the view. It’s just stunning! I loved waking at sunrise to look at the water and drink coffee. My husband and son really enjoyed checking out the tidal pools. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at to date!

Great for a Getaway
Only 2 complaints. Took several days to get a reply to an email I sent from the VRBO site between when I booked and our stay. And, we did not get the email with the key code information until after we had arrived which was very unsettling after driving an hour plus to get there. Other than that it was wonderful. The cottage was sparkling clean, very comfortable and beautiful. Everything you could need in the well stocked kitchen and laundry room. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. And it truly was just steps to the harbor. It was literally in the back yard. The views were spectacular, even in fog and rain. Hiking trails close by and just down the road a charming little store that seemed to have anything we needed. They aren't kidding when they say only room to park 2 cars at the cottage so plan accordingly. We will definitely book here again. Me Aybe summer or fall next time rather than March.

Wonderful and Clean!
I very much enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It was impeccably clean and orderly. The views are fantastic!! I was able to watch a winter storm dump about 2 feet of snow and it was a sight to see. There was a slight hiccup with a frozen shower pipe due to the weather but the team was Very responsive and had someone out right away to remedy the issue... a very nice local man who had some great stories of the area. This place had everything you needed for convenience, but bring a white noise machine if you have someone sleeping in the 2nd bedroom. The road is close, not annoyingly so but you can hear cars if that's something that will bother your sleep. I loved this place and hope to visit again in the future! Thank you so much. Jillian

Perfect Maine getaway
What a gorgeous place and location! We enjoyed wonderful sunrises and just looking out over the harbor. The place is well decorated and very clean. The only drawback is that it is very close to the road so you have cars going by but after awhile you don’t even notice it and it is mostly quiet at night. Would highly recommend this place!

Very nice cottage
We booked online after reading the reviews. It was all it was said to be. Very clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms is a rare find and so is a washer and dryer. Right on the rocky coastline on River Road, which is Rt.131 in St. George. Close to Rockland , Rockport and Camden where there is shopping and restaurants and other things to do. Very pleased with the cottage and location.

scenic cove
Absolutely gourgeous setting with back yard looking out with > 180 degree view on incredibly scenic tidal rock-and-kelp-covered cove, with brook feeding into cove, with herons, cormorants, and some kind of tern that dives into the water, as well as some hawks that visit sometimes to catch fish, in addition to the usual seagulls. And very beautiful scenic walk on a quiet road that starts about 50 yards away. The one drawback is that it is on a fairly busy road, but we were not aware of the road noise, either inside or in the back yard. Inside very comfortable, modern, with good kitchen.

The home was described perfectly but it didn’t mention the picnic tables, fire pit seating area and the Adirondack chairs which all face the water with beautiful views of boats and islands.

The view is to die for, immaculate clean house and has everything you might need during your stay - starting with a huge pot for lobsters and finishing with a cloth softener. Highly recommend this property for two couples.

Cozy and modern cottage with amenities
We had a great time during our stay, and this cottage truly was a home away from home! The location on the water can’t be beat. There is peace and quiet, and nearby towns activities are a short drive away. When planning our trip, it was important to me to find accommodations that were clean, comfortable, updated, and with the amenities that would make us feel at home, even while on vacation. This cottage delivered!! The property manager was great to work with as well. They were responsive, communicative, and helpful. I recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! Great View
A newly remodeled home with nice decorative touches, comfy furniture, all the basics that you need, plus a view to die for. The mattresses and pillows are a little low grade, but sleep-able nonetheless. Turnkey was very responsive and assisted with all our needs.

Lovely winter oasis
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back in the summer time. The views truly were dazzling, the kitchen was very well equipped, the place was perfect for two couples with the 2 baths and plenty of couch space to lounge about. The property managers were very responsive and helpful when we had an issue with the pipes freezing in one shower so we greatly appreciated their efforts helping us resolve that. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
