There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable."

"We stayed at the Compass Cove Cottage from September 15-21.The cottage is charming and cozy with a rustic coastal vibe. There is a large deck off the large living room overlooking a quiet and private cove where we enjoyed the sunshine in the mornings while working remotely, then once again for cocktails in the evenings. There is a dock to access the water by the provided canoe or kayaks with paddles and PFDs included. There's a fire pit to gather around in the evening. The hot water for showers...

"The house was very comfortable for us and very central to everything we wanted to do. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog and Thomaston has the best dog park, about a 3 minute drive from the house. It’s not really a walkable neighborhood, but that was the only downside. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The whole property was beautiful, and the view was amazing. All was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is small but adequate; it does need some additional items to make it easier to prepare meals. I made some suggestions to the host. The host kept in touch and responded quickly to our questions/concerns. We enjoyed out visit and would be happy to return. "

"This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!"
