Not impressed at all

The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, however the apartment was dirty (big time) we had no space on the bedrooms at all bathrooms were all black (really dark) appliances are old and dirty. You have no view of nothing all the buildings around the apartment are old and smelly.

Monate zuvor gebucht und woanders untergekommen

naja, Kommunikation war im Vorfeld gut , müssten aufgrund eines technischen Fehlers an eine Hauptstraße umziehen. ich hatte 6 Monate vor Anreise gebucht. Fenster ging im Schlafraum nicht zu und es war dementsprechend etwas lauter und die Lüftungsschächte waren sehr verstaubt. der IKEA Tisch war abgenutzt und die Rezeptionszeiten wurden nicht eingehalten. nie wieder hier

Stayed 3 nights with family and friends. Apartment was incredibly spacious and well maintained with comfortable large beds. We loved having a kitchen and being able to shop for food at the Carmel market and host a dinner party for local friends. Highly recommend this place!

DO NOT STAY HERE - Horrible Customer Service

This place was the worst hotel/apartment experience I have ever stayed at. Do NOT Stay here. The staff doesn't care about your needs - only your money. As an American traveling they 'made up' an exchange rate to charge me so they could get more money from me for my stay. As soon as I called them out on this they gave me a credit but the manager smirked the entire time - clearly he knew that making up an exchange rate is illegal and unethical... but did not care. It was their policy. Our apartment wasn't "ready when we arrived so they put us in another for two days. The TV was broken and they promised us another one by the next day - it never happened. When we got into the apartment we were assigned we realized the problem. The air conditioner unit was broken and leaking. They put us in there any way because they needed the other apartment for another guest. The AC unit continued to leak. We are not talking about drops but BUCKETS full of water. I had to mop twice and we used all of our towels to prevent from slipping - the floor was soaked in a 5'x5' area. They didn't send us towels or check over the weekend to see how we were doing - even though they knew the 'promised' repair had not been done. It was finally fixed (sorta - still minor leaks) by the last day of our stay. I have asked for my security deposit back at least 4 times and they have not done this (we checked out a week ago). I am relying on my credit card company to deal with them over that dispute.

I like the apartment very much but had a problem with the cost.. First they charged me $77.00 more than the price of the reservation, and then they charged $261.00 for deposit. I had to write a lot of emails to them to make them refund the deposit and the difference in payment. First they only gave me the equivalent to $60.00 more or less, instead of $261.00 plus $77.00. A month later, and after many many emails they finally refund me the money, so you have to be alert. Besides that, I really love the apartment. But did not like this situation at all, first time it happens to me.

Great Apt, Good Location and Rooftop

Overall good apartment and great location. Pros: Balcony/Rooftop and upper bedroom were amazing, especially for the price paid. Lower 2 bedrooms and bathroom are just OK. Apt was clean and adequate towels provided, great sitting area on the rooftop, where we all had drinks and chatted in the afternoon sun. Water heaters worked appropriately, and there was plenty of hot water. There were 3 couples, all had reasonable space and having at least 2 bathrooms was a must. Cons: Arriving at night, the sign for locating the building was small and not easy to find. Apartment was in need of some maintenance. Lower bedroom door had large dents/divots in it. Kitchen faucet was not attached to anything and felt like it was about it fall out. A draining rack or someplace to rest washed dishes would have been nice. Lower bathroom setup was a little awkward with the shower, but was happy it did not leak, and overall still quite usable. Lower bedrooms' AC was noisy when used while sleeping. When renting here, a couple factors to consider: parking is very difficult in this area, we returned our cars and did not attempt finding a garage in the area. Also the road does not really offer any space to even stop and unload a car (if all the street parking spaces are full, which they always were for our stay). So plan to jump out of your taxi quickly after arriving. The check-in office is also not in the same building, but 15 mins away.

Central location & spacious rooms - great value

Our two bedroom unit had a huge living and kitchen area. The Internet was fast and the TV was large and modern. It is near Rothschild's Blvd and a major bus line. The Carmel market and other shopping and dining are close by. If your arrival is after hours (approx. 11 PM, make sure you have a way to check your e-mail for notification on how to access your room......there is no attendant .

Very nice apartment but service office far away

This 3-bedroom apartment (+ sofa bed, maximum 8 people) was big and comfortable with a modern look. Two floors. Two bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom upstairs. Bathroom with toilet and shower on both floors. Private roof terrace with sofa and hammock. Very nice. The service office was 10-15 minutes walk away. This was very inconvenient. First I had to pick up the key there. When I got to the apartment there were no electricity in the whole building. So I had to walk back and report the problem. I was promised it would be fixed until 14:00 but when I arrived 14:30 it was still not fixed. So I had to go there a third time on the same day... Such things might happen and they fixed the problem during the day. But it would have been convenient with a phone or computer at the entrance. Having the office this far away and not offering a way to contact them is not very good service. Because the electricity was gone I could obviously not use the wi-fi and a 5 minute call to explain the problem would have cost me 10 USD. The standard of the renovation was poor. Seemed to be done quite recently, but careless. It wasn't possible to completely turn off one of the showers, so the water kept dripping all the time. All together we were very happy with this apartment.

Nice Apartment. Great location.

We arrived late on a big storm so we had to follow email instructions to find the building and then the keys for the appartment kept on a safebox. It felt somewhat complicated in the begining but ended up being OK. The appartment was very well located with some view of the Mediteran Sea. It had enough space for the 5 of us and it was clean and comfortable. Everything was great. Only complaint is that the way to charge the deposit (by making a Debit and a further Credit) not only it is cumbersome but also generates extra costs on the credit cards that apply Fees to FX transactions on the debit and on the credit resulting on a difference between the 2. Solution: They should inplement the normal way of holding hotel deposits (contingent debit!).

Lejligheden er misvisende i forhold til de billeder der er på hotels.com På billedrne fremstår lejligheden mere luksuriøse og som om der er mere plads end der i virkeligheden er. Vi var 2 forældre, 3 børn og 1 baby i alt 6 personer, men der var ikke værelser til os alle. Der var heller ikke plads til en babyseng i et af de to soveværelser, hvilken var et krav da vi bestilte. Babyen måtte ligge i opholdsstuen sammen med en af børnene, lang fra en optimal løsning, da baby sover tidligere end resten af familien og dens seng var i fællesrummet. Der er ingen vaskemaskine i lejligheden så vi måtte kræve rene håndklæder hver anden dag. Aftalen blev ikke overholdt før vi klagede flere gange. Aircondition virkede først 4 dage ind i opholdet og efter vi gentagende gange påpegede manglen. Der var meget beskidt på terrassen, specielt da vi flyttede parasollen (gamle cigaretskodder og affald kom frem - igen, baby der kravler). Vi brugte desværre megen tid på at få rettet tingene og fik kompensation med gratis morgenmad en af dagene. Det var fint - men vi håber deres viden omkring mangler kan forbedre standarden og høje deres service.

יש עוד מה ללמוד

מאוד נהננו מהשהות, ומתנאי החדר, המיקום של המלון מושלם, היה מאוד קשה להסתדר עם המחסור בחנייה, לעיתים חיפשנו 20 דקות חניה בתשלום, שווה לעשות עסקה עם בעל חניה לדיירי המלון. כמו כן נתבקשנו להשאיר את מפתחות המלון על השולחן לפני צאתנו, לאחר מספר שעות סביב 14:00 קיבלתי טלפון כי עשינו נזקים שלא קרו ולא נבראו, כתם על ספא, ושלוש כוסות שבורות, פרט לכוס אחת שבורה שאכן קרה שום דבר מכול זה לא נכון!!!! מצופה כי במידה וברצונכם לעשות הערכת נזקים זה יבוצע כאשר הלקוח נמצא בדירה ולא לאחר יציאתו כאשר כבר אינו בנמצא ואין לו שום דרך להוכיח כי לא קיים, הסיטואציה הייתה מאוד לא נעימה וממש מיותרת, והשאירה טעם רע!!! לא מקובל ולא נהוג להאשים בנאדם במשהו שלא עשה ועוד לבקש ממנו על זה כסף!!!

Very nice apartment close to the Carmel Market

Our experience at the shenkin vilmar apartment was exceptional! My favourite part of the apartment was its location and its cleanliness. It is close to the Carmel Market, delicious restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always available when needed. I strongly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!
