Amazing little villa

Amazing little hotel with gorgeous views and great service. We had our own private pool and a beautiful little villa. The food was amazing. It's a little out of the way but it was very, very peaceful and quiet.

The place was surrounded by tranquil and rustic rice fields. Our room was by the shared pool overlooking the rice fields and greenery in the distance. Villages were nearby. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A complete break from the mad world 😎 There were a few reasonable restaurants nearby. You could actually walk on the side of the road without being run over, unlike other parts of Bali. The room Was comfy- no problems. Only blemish was that the bathroom sink did not drain well.

Nous avons loué trois logements en famille et nous avons passé un très beau séjour et bien placé devant la piscine . C’est calme à part le coq que l’on entend toute la journée mais on s’y fait cela fait partie de leur quotidien . Le personnel est adorable et nous avons pu nous restauré sur place. Seul bémol il faut manger de bonne heure car nous y avons été dîner à 20h30 et nous n’avons pas eu de dessert car ils avaient fermé les cuisine ! Nous avons fait un massage et les masseuses sont très professionnelles. Je conseille vivement cet endroit dans les rizières et la nature, c’est magnifique et très bon rapport qualité prix. Les petits déjeuner sont bons et bien présentés .

The villa itself is beautifully designed—spacious, spotless, and surrounded by lush greenery. But the true highlight is what lies just behind it: endless rice fields that stretch into the horizon. At night, the soothing chorus of frogs fills the air, creating a natural symphony that gently lulls you to sleep. It’s a rare kind of calm that you can’t find just anywhere. What truly elevated our experience, however, was Sriorini, our incredible host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable—always kind, attentive, and eager to share the beauty of Balinese culture. Her presence made the experience feel more like visiting family than staying at a rental property. Whether you’re seeking quiet reflection, a romantic retreat, or a place to simply breathe deeply and relax, Kayangas Villa is the perfect choice. With Brendon's kind advices and care, as well as the whole crew's dedication and care, we felt like in a family ! We had breakfasts and dinners (careful as service ends at 20h00) at the restaurant. The food was good and affordable. We had 2 villas with each, a private pool and it was really nice. There is also a main common swimming pool, with a very pleasant view on the Rice/Padi fields. In the end, we enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely recommend Kayangan Ubud Villas !

Un hôtel situé en retrait du centre-ville, ce qui permet de profiter d’un calme absolu tout en restant proche d’Ubud en scooter ou en voiture. La vue sur les rizières est tout simplement magnifique, et le cadre est parfait pour se détendre loin de l’agitation. Le personnel est adorable, toujours attentionné, et le restaurant propose une cuisine de qualité. Un vrai moment de sérénité. Petit bémol : la piscine était un peu froide à mon goût et les transats manquaient de confort. Cela reste néanmoins un très bel endroit que je recommande pour un séjour reposant à Ubud

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans 1 villa avec piscine privée ! Au calme, au milieu des rizières et loin de l'effervescence d Ubud. Avec les bouchons quotidiens il faut compter 20- 25 min pour le centre d Ubud. Personnels au petits soins et d'une grande gentillesse, merci à toute lequipe et a Yogi. Encore merci de nous avoir changé de villa, prendre le petit dejeuner sur la terrasse avec vue rizière etait super agréable ! Vue rizière que d'un seul côté Le service restauration propose des repas de bonne qualité mais seul bémol choix peu varié. La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée avec 1 lit king size. Service navette proposé par l'hôtel : 1 aller/ retour par jour pour Ubud. Service aéroport est de 600000 IDR et non 350000 comme indiqué sur le site.

Wow… this was a great villa retreat.. on the rice fields with beautiful pool and relaxing environment… plus great service… it was 2 hours from the airport!! But it was special. Grab picks up so transport was good, but 15 minutes to the nearest town…

The Villa is in rice field which is nice and what we were looking for. Problem is hot shower does not work. Staff try to fix it without success. They should have give us to shower in other empty unit or change our room, but they do not. Very disappointed. Note that 3 days cold shower without any compensation. My recommendation to owner to at least attempt to give customer to use other empty unit for temporary shower. It is 3 days cold shower is really bad.

Nous avons passé 11 jours merveilleux dans un cadre idyllique. La chambre avec piscine privée et vue imprenable sur la rizière restera gravée dans nos mémoires. Confort moderne avec une architecture balinaise faite de bois et de pierres. Un plus pour la grande chambre avec vue et la salle de bain extérieure. Nous retiendrons le calme, la sérénité, la tranquillité au sein de l’hôtel, lieu idéal pour se ressourcer. L’ensemble du personnel est très accueillant et met tout en place pour se sentir comme chez soi. Nous remercions donc chaleureusement Sriarini, Wayan, Yogi, Nami, Dimas, Anto, Buda, Tya, Dewdyu, Guna, Made, Brendan, Dewi et Bagu and THIO (The cat), pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité avec toujours un large sourire et une bienveillance que nous ne pouvons trouver ailleurs dans le monde. Le restaurant est excellent avec des plats traditionnels mais aussi européens. Chaque plat est préparé sur demande aucun plat n’est préparé à l’avance. Nous tenons aussi à remercier le manager, toujours disponible pour nous trouver un taxi pour nous faire voyager dans tout Bali. De plus il travaille uniquement avec des chauffeurs du village voisin, soit ils proposent un trajet soit ils suivent ce que nous voulons visiter. Bref bien mieux qu’un circuit proposé par des compagnies touristiques. Attention 5kms peut représenter 45mn de trajets suivant les endroits !! Il faut noter aussi la possibilité d’avoir une navette gratuite (de 11h AM à 4h30 PM) de l’hôtel vers le centre d’Ubud.

The property is amazing and well maintained. Loved the sustainable aspect of the property and closeness to pristine rice fields and nature. The staff was extremely pleasant and efficient and ever smiling. We were very well taken care by Srix, Yogi, Nami, Buda, Wayan, Anto and Dimas. Special mention to Bernard for helping us out with booking all activities and the motorbike for our excursions. Extremely smooth and timely response from everyone 😊 highly recommended to stay at Kayangan Villa Ubud. 👍

Had an awesome time staying at Kayangan Villa Ubud. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. I mistakenly booked a villa with private pool but didnt realize it didnt have the rice field view so worth nothing when booking your room, make sure it says rice field view if you want that. Otherwise the common pool has an amazing view of the rice fields. The food was also great, a variety of western and indonesian dishes. I would come back here.

This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit.

Our stay at Kayangan Villa Ubud was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Kenderan Village, this villa offers a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The villa itself is stunning, with spacious rooms that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding rice fields. The private pool was a delightful retreat, and the outdoor bathroom with a rock shower added a unique touch to our stay. The attention to detail in the design and amenities truly made our honeymoon special. A special shout-out to Sri, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Her warm hospitality and attentive service made us feel incredibly valued and cared for. Whether it was arranging activities or simply checking in on us, Sri's dedication was remarkable. The food at the villa was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the sambal, which was the best we've ever had! The serene environment, coupled with the excellent service, made our stay at Kayangan Villa Ubud an experience we will cherish forever. We highly recommend Kayangan Villa Ubud to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. We can't wait to return!

If you’re looking for some peace and calm, this is the place to be. Surrounded by rice paddocks and a sweet community of village life, Kayangan offers tranquility from the usual hustle and bustle of our modern lives. Commute to downtown Ubud is 20 mins via scooter. You will need taxi service that can be arranged by the villa alternatively you can use Grab or Gojek which i did for commuting. The staff are amazing at the villa and accommodate your needs. They even have massage services that come to your villa for extra perks! Highly recommended if you wish to escape to the country side and love your afternoon walks.

Remote and beautiful. To really appreciate the surroundings you need a scooter or other transportation. There are a few restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk, but it is still quite rural.
