"The pods are really nicely designed with everything you need. One pod has two small rooms with a double bed in each. The other has a living area with tvz couch, small kitchen and shower/toilet. Phil and Kim were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed having the brazier for a fire. It is really close to the beach which is a nice beach with lots of logs for the kids to play with "

"The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!"

"I don't think that we quite realised when booking that there is no road outside the bach, but just a footpath and then straight onto the beach. This made the property very quiet and very unique. We loved it. There was plenty of parking further along the road and the walk was along a footpath and little bridge to the property. "From the moment Jan met us and made us welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate, romantic with fabulous views over the sea to the horizon. On our first day we could see the top of the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu and the Kaikouras.....heavenly.
