"Great communication from start to finish very welcoming upon arrival. Room was lovely clean and veey comfertable. Good options for breakfast. Callum the owner made a lovely breakfast & ofdered more if we wished but wasnt needed very filling great atmosphere with retro record player playing in background. Would highly reccomend and we will definetly use the facility again. Good access ro local toen amenities xx"

The owners were very friendly and told us about the surrounding area and even booked dinner for us at a local hotel. We would have preferred a larger bed but that was only a small point. "

The only complaint would be the bed, which was too small for two people and also very tall, and with limited blankets, making for a fairly uncomfortable night's sleep. We also didn't like being on the ground floor and having people look in, so we would only book a higher unit in the future."

"I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. "Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "
