Private 4-Acre Lake Retreat with Dock & Canoe

  • Esta espaciosa casa de campo cuenta con 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, perfecta para familias o grupos.

    Disfruta de una luminosa terraza acristalada que hace las veces de comedor, con capacidad para hasta 10 personas, ideal para desayunos familiares tranquilos. La cocina, de tamaño estándar, está totalmente equipada para todo lo que necesites a la hora de cocinar, además de contar con un cómodo salón, un lavadero y una gran terraza para relajarte al aire libre.

    El embarcadero privado está a unos 400 pies de la casa y hay que dar un pequeño paseo para llegar hasta él. Ten en cuenta que desde la casa no hay vistas directas al lago. El acceso al embarcadero es lo suficientemente ancho como para que pase un todoterreno 4x4 de tamaño medio.

    Se admiten mascotas previo pago de una tarifa. Añade a tu mascota a la reserva. El precio incluye una mascota, con un máximo de dos permitidas.



    Normas importantes de la casa y notas

    - No se permite fumar dentro de la casa.
    - La barbacoa es de carbón (los huéspedes deben traer el carbón).
    - La canoa se puede usar gratis y está en el embarcadero. Su uso es bajo tu propia responsabilidad; no hay socorrista de guardia.

    Esta casa no está a orillas del lago; no se ve el lago desde la casa. Tienes acceso privado a un embarcadero que está a unos 400 pies de distancia.

    Hay que dar un pequeño paseo hasta el embarcadero. El acceso es lo suficientemente ancho como para que pase un todoterreno 4x4 de tamaño medio si hace falta.


    Naturaleza y actividades al aire libre

    Este es un entorno tranquilo y lleno de naturaleza. La combinación de árboles y lago puede atraer a los bichos, así que si eres sensible a los insectos, te recomendamos que traigas tu repelente favorito.


    Mascotas

    Las mascotas son bienvenidas, pero hay que pagar una tarifa adicional. Añade las mascotas a tu reserva.

    El precio incluye 1 mascota; se permite un máximo de 2 mascotas. La segunda mascota conlleva un suplemento de 100 $.

    No se admiten perros sin adiestrar ni cachorros.
    Los perros deben dormir en una jaula.

Very Enjoyable!

This was so nice. We came to visit family and being able to enjoy a very room place within only a short walk down to the lake was great. Would definately be interested in staying again.

Hickory Lake property May 2023

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hickory lake property. The property was very nice and the short walk to the lake gave great access to fishing, canoeing, and relaxation. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Lake Retreat

This is a great location if you’re looking for privacy. The home was nicely decorated and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Freddy as a host.

Great weekend away

This house was very clean and simple. Made for a perfect weekend away. Plenty of storage space in kitchen and great outdoor fenced area.

Fantastic Retreat

This was a family holiday getaway, that felt more like a retreat. Great accommodations, plenty of space for everyone. Looking forward to returning. This would be my dream second home.

Our stay was great! Very private and cozy. The communication with the host was the absolute best!!!!!!!!! Freddy was great, always with a quick response! We enjoyed the stay so so much and we will definitely be back!

Great Stay!

We needed a rental to accommodate our off-road race team for an event, and the setup was perfect for what the guys needed. They were able to spread out, cook meals and relax between race days. The house was comfortable, very clean, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a great Labor Day!

Freddy was very responsive. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. There’s a walk down to the lake but we didn’t mind. I enjoyed mornings on the dock and we rented the boat from Freddy. It was a great time on the lake!

Family Christmas

The kitchen was amazing, better than any rental we have ever had. The lay out was a bit decieving, the game room is not a game room. It does sleep 8 comfortablely.

Nice time with family.

Very clean and well maintained home. The ad gave the impression (to us anyway) that the lake was adjacent to the house, but it was actually a walk down a trail. Not too far or inconvenient. Trail to lake and outdoors could use some grooming, but again not a hindrance to a good time. Price is right. We enjoyed ourselves and would use again.

Super Clean, Quiet Wonderful Place!

This place was a charming sanctuary and a great stay. First of all, I will say that I am a bit of a clean freak when it comes to hotels and vacation rentals. But this place exceeded all expectations with impeccable cleanliness and thoughtful set up. Laterally I have stayed in world class luxury hotels that could take some lessons from how clean this home was. The home is tucked into this quite little spot that really feels like a sanctuary. There is nice outside space and the home itself is well appointed. The property manager was responsive to request and super nice to work with. All in, one of my best stay experiences anywhere. THANKS!

Thanksgiving 2022

Property was as advertised. House was very clean. Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner without any issues, I would suggest you bring storage bowls for left overs and prep, besides that there is a good collection of pots, pans, blender to use. We had 6 adults and two children stay with us and my daughter (and family) and son who live in the area came to hang out with us. We did did not feel crammed. We enjoyed the yard, firepit and the dock area. Owner responded in a timely manner to our questions. Definitely a great place to rent.

Over all great place to stay! Very clean! Just wish the family of three cats would of hung out somewhere else other than the deck. They tried to enter the house every time door was opened. Family member was bitten on finger. These cats attacked my husband by jumping on him, yes I said jumped. They leaped onto his chest. Please check into the unwanted CATS at this property! Oh and as read free kayak to use. It was a canoe with no paddles. But overall house and location was perfect.

Beautiful lake

We enjoyed our stay at Freddy's property. The property was spotless and well appointed. There was ample bedding and bathrooms, as well as dining space. We took advantage of the boat rental for 6 days and so glad we did! It's a bit of a hike down to the boat dock (back up is worse ;) ), but well worth it. Lake Hickory is beautiful and peaceful. We had a little issue with the thermostat continuing to reset at a higher temp than we would have liked, but it was manageable. Freddy was responsive and very easy to work with. The only suggestion I would make is to have some sort of a nightstand and possibly a small dresser in the large bedroom that houses 2 king beds. We had to use a dining room table as a nightstand. All in all, it was a great stay!

Remodeled trailer house with lake access .

Pictures of the property look better than reality. It is remodeled trailer house with all that it comes: 7ft ceiling, poor airflow in the bedrooms , poor water pressure in the bathrooms. Super clean surfaces! Not sure why house was full of fruit flies . The nest was in the pipes of dishwasher. We tried to make a dent in population and it was a war zone for two days stay .Good kitchen and nice TV room. You need to walk downhill to the water and uphill back . Property has limited access to the lake so don’t picture yourself swimming in the lake . We will not be back . Ever ! Just not for us .
