Communing with the ospreys, hummingbirds and the bald eagle who perched numerous times on a nearby tree was an added bonus. And, the owner may be the most friendly/helpful we’ve ever rented from. "Another wonderful stay at this absolute jewel of a place. We had an amazing weekend and our kids loved every minute of it (even though it rained!). The house is perfect for 2 couples with kids. "We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!"

"Quaint cottage by the bay. Short walking distance to small beach. Home was clean and had everything we needed. It was just my husband and I so plenty of room. We are older so hill down and back up to beach with a full wagon of chairs etc. was pushing limits but close enough to drive down to drop off and pick up. All and all was a relaxing time. We love this area of the bay! Thanks to our great host for providing this vacation for us. "

"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. Lots of beautiful sunsets on the patio for the grown-ups too. We never had to leave. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"Ranch at Royal Oak is a great house with a spectacular host. The communication was stellar. The house is in excellent condition with everything you need right at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end towels, linens, utensils, glasses, knives, bowls, plates, etc. The kids and adults loved the pool and fishing on the dock. Access to St. Michael's is very easy. We will be back!"
