Peaceful getaway

Peaceful lovely location, easy to get to the lake, waterfall, dam etc. Host was very prompt and helpful.Just keep in mind no bathmats, sheets or pillowcases (as mentioned on listing). Also the fireplace smokes, the warning about it being smoky is mentioned at the property.Overall a great weekend getaway

Perfect Retreat by the Bay

Most beautiful place, felt like home. Only a few minutes into town. Up the road 2 minutes drive down a dirt track (4x4 would be recommended) best spot for fishing. However not much shade. Home itself, is perfect! All amenities, fireplace and the birds are just amazing to watch. Would have loved to stay longer.

Fantastic Taylor’s Bay Cabin

Just back from our 2nd stay at this cabin, we came between lockdowns in 2020 and returned in 2025 for 5 days and 4 nights.Excellent location for lake access for jet skis & small boats.We spent that past week on the lake with the kids and the dogs, eating BBQ food and playing cards in the peace and quiet of beautiful Taylors Bay.Brilliant time had by all. Thanks for having us!

Family getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ample room, particularly in lounge area, which was a nice social hub. Kids enjoyed watching the birds feed from the bird feeder. Loved the games especially marbles. Well equipped kitchen, had everything that we needed. Highly recommend.

Serene Escape to Eildon Lake

Staying at the Relax-In cozy cottage was an absolute delight! Nestled in a picturesque landscape and Eilden Lake, it was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The warm, inviting interior featured a crackling fireplace and comfortable furnishings, making evenings incredibly relaxing. 90km away from Mansfield town, the mist-covered surroundings added a magical touch, and mornings were a joy with stunning views of the winter wonderland right outside the patio with welcoming colourful parrots ready to eat off your hands. The hosts were supportive and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was attended to. It was a serene escape that left us feeling rejuvenated and grateful for such a charming winter getaway to Mt. Buller. It is highly recommended for a peaceful retreat!

Relaxing Family Time

This is our second time staying in this property, and we are planning to come back soon… it’s just the perfect setting to disconnect from the busy rutine, relax and enjoy real, meaningful family time. The house is comfortable, cozy and sorrounded by beautiful nature, we actually enjoy staying in more than anything else. The area in general is beautiful and nice for bike riding with young kids!

The cabin was well appointed, roomy and comfortable. However the outside left a lot to be desired, overgrown weeds, overflowing gutters onto deck area and generally unkept. It was relief to walk inside and see it didnt mirror the outside.

Amazing getway

It was one of our most enjoyable vacations that our family has been on. The kids really enjoyed feeding the birds, the views were beautiful and the location was amazing. The house was relaxing, comfortable and clean. We really didnt want to leave so we will be going back again without hesitation. . Overall our stay was a 10/10

A wet weekend made cosy and warm

The place was cosy and warm on a very cold and wet weekend. My kids loved the electric blankets on each bed. It was just the right size for the four of us and we had everything we needed. As a games loving family we used the games cupboard and a couple of fierce Mastermind battles took place. The DVD collection meant we sat together to watch some favourites... once we agreed on what to watch. The beautiful surrounds and wildlife were all a part of our weekend. This included a visit by the rosellas and cockatoos in the morning. It was the perfect distance away from Eildon for the Bayside Skoda cycling Road Race - the reason we were there in the first place. Thank you!

The place is comfortable and well laid out with a newly renovated bathroom. Close the the lake and less than 10 minutes drive to the Eildon shops.

Perfect for a little get away
