## Neighborhood
There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding.
The town’s leisure centre is next door to the condominium which offers superb leisure facilities including a 25 metre, 8-lane indoor pool, 5 newly resurfaced tennis courts and an Astroturf.
Tavira is also a great location for golfers with a range of courses close by offering beautiful scenery in peaceful surroundings, including Monte Rei which has been ranked as the best course in the Algarve.
Tavira is well known for its quaint traditional streets, where old meets new, and is a great place to do some sightseeing and while away time in the sun with a glass of wine in one of its charming plazas or cobbled streets.

There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

Very pretty townhouse close to everything
Nice property with large roofterrace.
Close to good restaurants (Cantina do emigrante, te Maria), the boot to the island and a rentalstore for bikes. Enjoyed staying there very much.

Lovely stay
Great central location for our stay inTavira. The house was a good size for myself and partner and 2 friends. Lots of stairs so not sure how suitable it would be with young children or the elderly, but as adults, it was perfect and having the roof terrace was great for breakfast and drinks etc in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Great location
This place was in a perfect location. We could walk everywhere. The only issue we had was that the A/C units were not operational for part of our stay. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and especially the rooftop deck.

We got into Tavira early so made a visit to the flea market and got some old vinyl.The property was better than expected due to the top floor with it's sitting room and terrace, plus the bonus of a record player! Bottle of water bag of food and LP's relaxation at it's best. Plus 1min walk to Bishop square for restaurants. Street car parking was easy (not on the meters)

Comfortable week in Tavira in November 2024
The property was well-located within walking distance of the old town. It was very clean and had everything you could require for a comfortable stay. The heating system worked well on all three levels. The third-level living area with an outdoor terrace was especially nice for reading and cocktails. The master bedroom was a bit tight but the second bedroom gave us sleeping options. The three flights of stairs kept us in shape!

Absolutely loved this place! Needing to go back!
We were so sad to leave our 'home' after 7 weeks. The house had everything we could need and many homely touches to welcome us, such as LPs and a player and a Christmas hamper! Our daily delight was to lunch on the upper balcony in the sun with the neighbourhood domestic pigeon flocks circling for their exercise. The kitchen was well laid out and supplied to cater for ourselves. The wifi was good and supported our work without interruptions. The management we're really quick and clear in replying to our questions and requests.Tavira is a delight and we enjoyed meeting locals and new residents, long walks, the nearby gym, municipal pool, the coastal birdlife and the beaches. Spain is so close too for day trips.
