Beautiful property, wonderful staff. Good restaurant on site. Bures were good. The only negative is the hot water system. Spotty, sometimes none.

Staff were so lovely, and the food was pretty decent, but that is the only positives of the place. Accommodation was poor, electricity off from 11am-4pm daily. Can't make a hot drink or charge a phone!! The water pressure was intermittent so not always able to flush the toilet. The shower was outside and no hot water with any decent pressure. Swimming pool wasn't well maintained. No games room, just a ping pong table. Internet was absolutely awful, again intermittent...but mostly not available. The staff were so friendly & kind, typical Fijian style....but the Accommodation wasn't worth the money. Out dated & in need of refurbishment. Not clean to a decent standard sadly. No bin, no house keeping to collect rubbish. No change of towels or bedding in 3 days.

The food was very good. However, the rooms were just okay (dark and damp). Be aware that the electricity is turned off at 11:00 a.m. and doesn’t go back on until 4:00 p.m. so the hottest part of the day is without AC.

The accommodations, a large garden bure, was authentic, nice decor and well maintained. Very large outdooor shower was interesting. Hotel is very close to the airport which is why we chose this lodge as an overnight stay. Lack of staff customer service brought the rating down to an Okay. Every interaction was disappointing (or non existent ). Check in, wrong room, no electricity until 4pm, no welcome drink although lobby signs offered, and hotel breakfast nor coffee not available at designated time. But overall value and true “Fiji time” well represented.

The staff are very good, but this property is very tired and in need of a major update. The pictures DO NOT look anything like what we stayed in. The air conditioning did not work, the toilet leaks (from the bowl), cleaning staff did not clean the room, ants are everywhere in the room.

We had really a nice stay in Maravu Lodge wirh a wonderful view of the ocean to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our bure. The di e centers are vety close (we can really recommend "salt divers" with their daily dive trips to the rainbow reef) and also the restaurant inside the Lodge. We loved the delicous food. The staff was very helpful in organizing our trip to the Bouma waterfall. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

나름 예쁘게 꾸며진 정원과 풀장. 공항과도 가까워서 좋았습니다. 숙소도 나름 좋았어요. 그런데 예약할때 메일과 페이스북통해서 가격에 대해 의논을 충분히 했다고 생각했고 페이스북 답장을 ID를 가져오면 10프로 할인해준다는 답장을 받았으나 약속을 지키지 않아서 참 답답했어요

Good food! However, the rooms are dark and damp. And be aware that the AC and all electricity is turned off at 11:00 a.m. and doesn’t go back on until 4:00 p.m. So the hottest part of the day is without AC.

We had a beautiful stay at Maravu-our own piece of paradise! Our bure was private, peaceful and clean. The Maravu staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend and would stay again and again. Vinaka to our friends at Maravu!

Our stay was amazing. The staff really make you feel like family. The treehouse was perfect for our stay, almost two big for just two of us but the views from the deck were to die for. The property is within walking distance from the beach, food, grocery store and the airport. The breakfast cinnamon toast was our favorite the whole stay.

Overall nice little lodge with helpful staff. The shower water (temp and pressure) needs some attention. But not a major distraction as the overall everything else was good. Restaurant onsite was good with a daily evening variety.

Loved this place! Tranquil and affordable. One thing is Wi-Fi is too slow to really do anything but starlink could fix that easily! I would get ~1mbps. Maybe we shouldn’t even need wifi but for practical reasons having a reliable source is nice.

The staff were very nice and our bure was nice and clean. However, they fail to mention that they run on a generator and there is no power between 11am and 4pm. We had an outdoor shower that was nice but couldn't get any water pressure or hot water reliably. Sometimes the water was hot for 30 seconds, sometimes not at all. When you're constantly going into the ocean, you need a reliable shower to wash off the salt and sand. The restaurant had good breakfast, but no free coffee or tea. The rest of the meals were sometimes good, sometimes not so good. I think it's difficult to get groceries on Taveuni. The supermarkets have very little variety of food. Online they said it was a 3% fee for paying by card at the restaurant, but they charged us 5%. And for all the tours you have to pay cash. While the rainbow reef was amazing, and so was Tavoro falls, there is very little to do on this island and very few beaches. 5 days was too long on the island, should have been 3.

Our stay at Maravu Resort was a great experience. Whilst the accommodation was abdicate there is a lot of upgrading to be done. Any problems we had were attended to immediately. They were only the Air conditioner & Fan. The Staff and meals were fantastic. The lady in charge (Laisani) was friendly & attentive to our needs. Would recommend the Resort to everyone
