Welcome to paradise - Sure to become you newly discovered home away from home! This recently refreshed and newly listed condo has everything you need to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Ocean Pointe is quietly located within 60 acres of lush Florida Keys foliage. Enjoy tennis and pickle ball courts and an olympic size pool. Get your umbrella drink at the pool side bar or grab a snack at the ocean front Cafe! Stroll down by the beach and pier and observe some of the locals - pelicans and even dolphins often stop by. The Space:
The location in Tavernier puts this community close to both Islamorada, Key Largo, the best restaurants and local shopping plazas.
The master bedroom has a king bed with an in suit bathroom and the guest bedroom has been updated to a bunk bed with queen and twin on top. A second bathroom is in the hallway just steps away. Bonus features include Smart TV's in each room, pickle ball rackets and ball, FREE WiFi and fully stocked kitchen.
The balcony offers views of the Atlantic Ocean as weel as the nature preserve, knows as Florida Keys 'hammocks"
Guest Access:
You will have full access to Ocean Pointe Suites resort & property. The security gate is manned 24 hours. The person who made the reservation, will need to present their ID upon arrival.
We have a 24 hour Self check-in process with local support from Oasis Vacation Rentals.
Boats and boat trailers are only allowed if pre-approved by the dock master prior to reservation.

Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.
Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house.
GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR
We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:
KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.
The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.
CAR PARKING
Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.

MARINA RESERVATIONS
Please note that we do not manage the marina and cannot guarantee availability for boat dockage. You will have to contact the Dockmaster at Ocean Pointe, please contact Oasis Vacation Rentals for the Dockmaster email address.
You will be required to submit a copy of the vessel insurance and registration along with the trailer registration and room confirmation. Please be sure to attach all required documents during your initial submission as failure to do so will delay our ability to process your request.
Use the Ocean Pointe Marina Amenity Reservation form to submit your request and required documentation directly to the Ocean Pointe dock master. To ensure you are able to use the marina and facilities prior to submitting a request, please see the general rules below:
Rules/Regulations/Restrictions:
• All operators of vessels in the marina must have a copy of a current insurance declaration page indicating a minimum of $300,000 bodily liability and $100,000 property damage coverage on file with the dock master.
• Owned or commercially rented vessels must be registered and insured or rented in the name of the owner or registered guest staying on the property.
• Vessels must not exceed 28ft registered length. (Note: maximum beam 9’6”)
• Jet Skis, Wave runners, Sea Doo's or other PWC are not allowed on property or in the marina at any time.
BEACHES
The Florida Keys isn’t really known for its vast beaches. We are a series of islands made up of coral rock. We do have some small beaches that are accessible but they are nothing like the beaches you will find on the west coast of Florida or the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. The closest public beach is Anne’s Beach which is in south Islamorada. The best way to experience the Keys is to get out on the water. We have world class boating, diving, snorkeling, and kayaking!
