  • Inspired by @williamJones I went down to south Florida. I also went down to visit family :D. Granted, I had to capture a few landscapes along the way. I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

We had an excellent experience at this condo and would absolutely stay here again. The property offers incredible value for the price. The unit was spotless upon arrival, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with everything you could need—utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and more—making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Beach towels were thoughtfully provided, which was a huge convenience for our trips to the ocean.The host was outstanding—responsive, attentive, and checked in several times to ensure everything was perfect. The location couldn’t be better: quick access to Tavernier’s shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to Islamorada for even more dining and entertainment options. Parking was plentiful and hassle-free in the condo lot.The amenities were a highlight. The private beach was only a short walk away, offering a peaceful spot to relax by the water. The pool was spacious, clean, and never felt crowded, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.Overall, this condo exceeded our expectations. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and ideally located—it truly made our trip memorable. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Keys!

clean, quiet condo

Mostly liked the property aside from a few small issues: the disparity in the 2 bedrooms was disappointing-1 room had nice furnishings, balcony, tv, ensuite and the other had no window (did have a window facing the walkway but was covered by bed), no tv and was very small. I understand that this is the configuration of the condo, but the photos in the listing did not convey this. The bathtub had no non-skid and no bath mat.

Beautiful location!

Too short of a visit...although the pool, hot tub and beach looked great, we didn't get to spend any time there! Perfect interior layout for two couples sharing a stay. Quiet and had everything we needed.

Great Vacation Spot!

This is our 5th stay! It’s just me and hubby but condo complex is perfect for families, young and old. We rent bikes from Backcountry Cowboy about 10 minutes down the road. The area is very bike friendly! This year we took the Pigeon Key tour and went to the Dry Tortugas on a ferry out of Key West. Key West is a 2 hour drive but very easy and scenic. After exploring we relax by the pool or beach. Security is good. Only residents of the complex are let in the gate. I highly recommend!

A Great Place in the Keys!

The condo has everything that you could need and the view from the windows is beautiful! We found it to be very quiet. Due to the number of condo buildings and units, getting two chairs at the pool is not easy. However, we truly enjoyed the beach which is very quiet and beautiful. Tavernier allows you to be in the middle from Key Largo and Islamorada. There are plenty of restaurants in those towns and there is a CVS and Winn Dixie less than 3 miles from the complex. The grounds are very nice and kept up extremely well.

Perfect spot for three brothers!

We had a terrific time at this Tavernier property and it fit three brothers perfectly. Check-in was easy and the villa/condo was as advertised. Beds were big and comfortable, as was the sleeper sofa. Plenty of cooking items and utensils. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well, but that was a minor inconvenience. Loved having excellent ocean views throughout the day. The other amenities (e.g., pool, harbor, etc.) were nice though we didn't partake much due to the cooler temps in late January. Still, quite close to other options in Tavernier and Key Largo. Speaking of Largo, he was our host and he responded quickly and capably anytime I had a request, even with tips on fishing charters. Thanks so much; look forward to hopefully visiting again!
