Fantastic Place
Fantastic place to stay that’s close enough to everything but feels like you’re away from it all. Great for those with kids as there is heaps of room to run around, animals to see, trampoline and toys. Place was modern, clean and spacious with everything you need. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Perfect HQ for our family while we were visiting Friends and Fam and spending some time around Tauranga and surrounding areas. The kids absolutely loved the animals and the property. Close to shops and beach and easy to access all the Bay of Plenty offers.

Amazing
We just want to say a huge thank you to Nina for accommodating us and making our stay an amazing one. The batch is warm and cosy, beautiful surroundings with peace and quiet. We loved spending time with the animals and the swing was a huge hit with the kids and big kids! Would highly recommend!

The most complicated part of this 3 day stay was the most complicated booking procedure! The property was all it promised to be and more, the dog had a ball and the property owner was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Great break.

Yes I remember the vrbo site had some issues when you were trying to book, but they seem to have fixed it now! So glad you enjoyed your stay - it was lovely to meet you!

Great family spot
Nice semi rural location only a few minutes drive from Papamoa. Kids loved being able to feed the 'bunnies', baa's and 'moo's'. We loved the fact we could sit and read a book whilst keeping an eye on the kids playing on the large lawn.

Everything we expected and more
Had a great 3 night stay at this property. The property had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and well stocked with all the things needed to cook. The farm animals were a treat for the kids. We had an issue with the stove not turning on properly and the owner addressed it right away. Would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic Stay
This is a wonderful property with absolutely lovely hosts. The home gives a nice modern feel and was very clean and welcoming. Fresh eggs and pet rabbits, sheep, cows, and goats Mara and Wednesday are there to happily greet you each morning. If you like hiking this property is a 2 minute walk to Papamoa hills. It’s close enough to the towns of Papamoa and Mount Maunganui so that they are convenient for shopping etc., but it’s also far enough that you get a rural farm vibe with beautiful farm animals. We highly recommend this property.

Papamoa Brightside Farmstay
Great property, so clean & everything you need in a holiday property. Plenty of room for our 3 boys to play football. They loved feeding the rabbits & chickens & collecting fresh eggs every day. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful sanctuary
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even better that it was dog friendly, my schnauzer was in heaven! Host was great, place was clean, everything was driving distance. Would definitely be a wonderful place to bring younger children! Will be back!

Just the perfect kiwi getaway
This apartment is just wonderful and everything you could want from a rural getaway. A spacious apartment with high ceilings and a modern well appointed kitchen. The feel of the place is modern complimented with beautiful artwork. Nina was helpful and attentive and is a great host. Access to the animals and fresh eggs was great. Kids would go bananas for this, we sure did. All in all this was the perfect VRBO experience.

Winter school holiday getaway
The whole family absolutely enjoyed a week away at this farmstay, despite the rainy weather. The kids loved roaming the paddocks with the friendly animals, finding fresh eggs, and especially the tree swing. It was great that we could bring the dog, who made friends with the sheep! Modern, clean unit, enough room for family of 5. The owners made us a feel very welcome. Recommend!

Modern friendly farm stay
Great location close to beaches also shopping centre. Accomodation were very comfortable and modern! Friendly farm animals and big field for my dog to run around! We just loved it!

Relaxing haven
The property was very clean on arrival. It was set amongst the hills of the regional park. Our son loved feeding the farm animals. I would definitely recommend to others. It was great we could take our dog with us and he loved the big open spaces.

Very enjoyable stay. Perfect for our little group!
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - including the dog :-). The property was perfect for us inside and out with lots of room outside for all to play. Hosts were amazing and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely
I have no hesitation in recommending Brightside Farmstay. My best friend and I enjoyed every minute. Such a peaceful location with just a short drive to the nearest town. Not too far from places such as Hobbiton & Rotorua if you like a beautiful scenic drive, which we did. Nina was always at the end of the phone if needed & left us to get on with our stay with no interruptions. Despite it being a working farm, we never heard a peep out of anyone; it was blissfully quiet. We enjoyed meeting the pet calves, goat and sheep and loved the opportunity to feed them. If I ever get to NZ again,I'll be checking availability at the farmstay straight away.

Wonderful homestay; clean, quiet, comfortable beds, so close to all the Bay has to offer. Communication was excellent from owner (thanks Nina for bringing the cork screw! And the gorgeous animals to pet!). We loved this homestay and highly recommend.

Fabulous place
We loved our stay here. Such a lovely house with really comfortable spaces. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and tidy. Great outdoor eating area, our children loved the space to run outside and play frisbee. They also loved feeding and patting the animals. Great location, easy drive to Mt Maunganui, short drive to supermarkets.
