When I could break through the AI chatbot that VRBO provides for feedback the owner was responsive and helpful. When I return to this property I will seek out the owner directly and cut out VRBO. Loved the property and highly recommend it highly."

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"Our party of 12 had a great stay at Tessa property. Location was perfect for what we wanted (kids had a ball riding their bikes around the nice quite cul-de-sac, river/local cafe/playground within nice walking distance). House was well stocked w everything we needed & had plenty of room for everyone (kids loved all staying together in the big bunk room). Brazier was a nice touch for some mid-winter cheer. Tessa was a very responsive & accommodating host."

"Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!"

"We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. "The owners have done a lovely job furnishing the property. It's near the Westside of Lake Taupo. Great fishing and very nice beach, but there a couple of issues. The property lacks internet! It's the 21st century, not having internet is like not having indoor plumbing or electricity. Without the internet, there's no smart TV.
