"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

Takeaway and pub a short drive away in Tamahere. It was an easy short flat walk to the Te Awa River path which allowed us to walk to Hamilton Gardens in around 1 hour on beautiful boardwalks along the Waikato river.
