"We arrived a bit late and were welcomed by a friendly and warm member of the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast a bit poor with not hot or meat or eggs options, but would stay again if we’re to come back. "

"We had an excellent stay. The accommodation had an awesome rustic feel with newly renovated, clean rooms and the restaurant below was also fantastic. The location was beautiful and close enough to walk to the Stourhead and take in the stunning gardens. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Cannot reccomend this place enough!"

"Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay."

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level...

"My mother stayed in a room last night, I parked for a while but was told it must be a short stay, but I was rudely told ‘if you don’t move your vehicle soon I will have to fine you’ my mother has stayed in the hotel many times & use to be a regular . "

"WE had to leave early so we could not attend Breakfast. However, the Hotel Manager prepared some items for us which were amazing!! "

"I LOVED this place! A proper British pub, that was so cozy it felt like home. I absolutely loved the towel warmers ( we don't have that in the US) and the Ily coffee in the room with a French press and cookies. Was an extra cherry on top! The bed was so comfortable and felt like I was in the countryside tucked away from the world. I absolutely loved it and would 10/10 come back and stay again! Not to mention the breakfast was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for such a great stay!"

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."
