Vacaciones con amigos

La casa esta super bien equipada para pasar unos días estupendos en familia o con amigos, imposible aburrirse. La localización es fantástica, se puede bajar en 5 min a la magnifica playa de Zahara y a 10 min andando se puede ir Playa de los alemanes. Muy recomendable.

Insuperable!!

Quiero empezar agradeciendo a Nanette t a Joke todo el acompañamiento antes y durante la estancia. La casa es un lujo a todos los niveles, tanto por ubicación como por equipamiento. Nanette ha pensado hasta en el último detalle y no ha escatimado en nada. Nunca olvidaremos los atardeceres en la terraza ni los momentos de risas y juegos entre amigos y con los peques. La atención es exquisita y Joke ha estado disponible en todo momento. Incluso nos ha ayudado con los peques y aun hoy preguntan por ella. En definitiva nos ha encantado la experiencia y no tenemos ni un “pero”. Gracias Nanette y Joke por todo y ojala podamos volver. Un abrazo!!

Great property in a wonderful area

We stayed in this house with our 4 adult children, just prior to the beginning of Spanish summer high season. We loved everything about the property; the views, the pool, the kitchen, did I mention the views?The one thing I would point out, especially for those with younger children, the climb down to the beach is not for the faint of heart. 267 steps, no railings, some of the stones are breaking away. It wasn't a problem for us, but it would have been when the kids were younger. The town of Zahara was "just right" for us. Despite a lot of modern development on the outskirts, the downtown has retained just the right mix of charm and convenience. Lots of great restaurants/cafes, cute shops, and a fantastic fish/veg/meat market.

Excellent in all respects

This was a family event/vacation for eleven people ranging in age from 3 to 77 from different places in Europe and North America. The lovely villa was ideal with pools and beach nearby. It was beautifully equipped with everything for meals and games, etc for children. Our host, Nanette could not have been more helpful or gracious.

Alta Vista is UNFORGETTABLE!

I don’t know where to begin to explain how magical and special a week we had at this gorgeous home. Special thank you to Nanette for being such a helpful and responsive host from beginning to after check out. The house has everything you need, so you can sit back and relax and take in the view. We were four adults and five children and there was lots to do for everyone! The view of the ocean from every room was breathtaking. There are a few restaurants and shops in walking distance, but the village with the majority of shops and restaurants is about 2 miles away and easy to drive or call taxi. Travelers should note that Zahara seemed to be a vacation spot primarily for Spanish residents -so not touristy at all. Which we enjoyed!! We hated leaving after a short week and look forward to returning to this one in a million spot.

Beautiful house with awesome equipment

We were a group of ten (6 adults and 4 kids) and had an amazing time. The precommunication and check-in were very well organized. There was so much cool equpment for the kids to play with (board games, pool and beach toys and even normal toys) and so many places to chill out with an incredible view for the adults. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful Place with overhelming Backdrop

I wanna thanks Nanette for the amaizing communication before, during and after our stay at this beautiful place. It was exactly as described. Very nice and clean rooms, lots of useful kitchen utensils, bathrooms equipped with shampoos and shower gel and a table tennis table that was a lot of fun in the group. We lacked nothing in this accommodation. This view, with this overwhelming backdrop, leaves nothing to be desired! We would love to come back again and again! We are looking forward to the next time! Wonderful stay

Where do I start? We had such an amazing stay! The view is unbeatable from the terrace on every floor. The pool is a perfect temperature and the jacuzzi so relaxing. The villa has everything for everyone- games room, yoga mats umbrellas, beach chairs- because the beach is just a few mins walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped- all adds up to a relaxing stay . Excellent location within walking distance to beach. Villa was very thoughtfully stocked with all necessities for short and long stays (toiletries, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils and basic cooking provisions, beach equipment, etc.). Nanette the host was very easy to reach and quick to resolve issues. A perfect holiday home that we would love to return to!

The property is gorgeous and so well stocked with absolutely everything you need. The communication from the property management was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely multi-generational vacation. The city is beautiful and offers lovely restaurants and bars. Highly recommend the property!

The house and the location is areally beautiful. Within minutes you are in the city and the access to the beach in is a good walking distance. There were three downsides regarding our stay. The not communicated construction side next door was awful… If you spend a lot of money for a week, travel across europe and you receive the information 2 days prior to your stay is not ok. The noise was on a level, which was not acceptable . Additonally when we arrived we went for a dive in the pool. Shortly after, some friends of mine cut theier feet, because there was everywhere shattered glas around the pool. From the kitchen down to the pool. So first things first, we cleaned for 1 hour straight until it was safe again. And the somehow the chlor in the whirpool discolored all of our swimsuits.

Best villa we’ve ever stayed in

I knew the villa was going to be amazing, having read all the reviews, but it really IS amazing! Nanette was so helpful at every point, even organising a last-minute drop-off meal for our event from the local restaurant. The villa was immaculate, and was very well equipped. The hot-tub was such a bonus as we had 3 young children (3,4,6) who treated it like a baby pool. I would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful vacation home!

This property and home is truly remarkable. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi overlooking the Spanish coastline. The beach is only 5 minutes away and is relaxing and beautiful. The home itself was updated and clean with multiple beds and bedrooms! We can easily see ourselves coming back with our children and family in the future. The town is very close but be mindful that this is not a typical tourist location, which is both good and bad. Practice your Spanish! There was some construction next door, and although it was completely out of her control, the owner and host went out of her way to ensure us the peaceful vacation time away from our busy lives! Her recommendations and suggestions led us to great food and an amazing adventure in Morocco as well! Hopeful to come back and stay for at least a week next time!

Yet again…..AMAZING!!!

This is our second time at this property and it still is the most amazing place to stay for all ages! We had such a rough start with our flights from Chicago, Nannette the owner was absolutely FANTASTIC helping us out. Once we got to the house every worry washed away with the beautiful views and the warm ocean breezes. House once again had EVERYTHING a family needed. We travelled with kids ages 7-14. Pool was perfect, the game room was top notch. Ping pong area was SO MUCH fun and well thought out. More than enough room where the kids were busy and adults enjoyed wine on the balcony. It was heaven. You can’t beat Zahara for location world class food, nice drives to Vejer, Gibraltar and more great historical towns. Can I give it a 10 star rating?

Exceeded expectations

Our family included 12 people from ages 6 to 82 and it was the perfect location for all of us. The layout of the house was wonderful and the view was spectacular. The details provided for our comfort was beyond our expectations. Nanette was amazing in communicating with us right from the beginning and until our departure. She gave us valuable assistance with restaurant suggestions and reservations as well as any information we wanted about the community. We would be delighted to return there again in the future.

Beautiful villa with amazing views in great location

Everything was exceptional. The villa, the facilities, the location, the pool, the jacuzzi, the many toys for children, the pool and beach equipment even the gym weights, (that I promised to use but never did as so many other activities to do) every detail was thought about and provided. As an extended family with our 2 sons and their families (with 4 children 5 and under) Alta Vista was the ideal holiday destination. A walk down to the beach was just lovely and the beach bars were a perfect treat. The activities in the surrounding areas were second to none, from kite surfing to amazing horse riding for the grandchildren. Also the surrounding places to visit are certainly worthwhile. Verja de la Frontera is definitely worth a visit. Both Nanette (the owner) and Joke (the agent) were super communicative making sure we had everything we needed. Nanette even recommended restaurant 21 to provide an exceptional dinner for us all on the terrace of Alta Vista. A very memorable evening. There is a building site next door to the villa (who wouldn’t build a villa next door) but the builders are very understanding and it wasn’t disruptive to our enjoyment. I would highly recommend Alta Vista and hope to visit again one day.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Alta Vista! The house had everything that you needed, the view was incredible (especially the sunset), and the jacuzzi was simnply spectacular. Also, the host were very responsive to our needs and took care of any issue we had quickly.
