"I wasn't so sure about this place when we arrived but we ended up having a very nice stay here. The bathroom was huge. The master bedroom had a comfy beds and the heated mattress pad was outstanding! My friends were in the second bedroom and she didnt like that her bed was against an outside wall that she felt was chilly. "

"Our stay at Casa Nova House in Oamaru was exceptional. Brenda was an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and attentive in a way that made us feel genuinely cared for. The room itself was beautifully designed, with thoughtful details throughout and a sense of calm that immediately put us at ease. And the bed… easily the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. We left feeling rested, delighted, and so grateful for the experience. Casa Nova House is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return."

"The Manager was very obliging. I have allergy problems, he aired our pre booked room and ensured there was NO artificial sprays applied to the room. Parking was great. Presentation excellent. A note here: The boundary fence by the laundry is pretty dilapidated. The area surrounding the washing line is in need of love and attention, i.e. weeding etc., as does the back boundary. Other than that a very welcoming place. Not noisy even though the Motel is located on the main road. Thank you...

"Due to the little blue penguins’ late arrival, we arrived at the hotel doors after 11 p.m. I called the posted number, and a gentleman checked us in. Our room is lovely, and the bathroom is spotless. I had a good night’s sleep. "

"Parking easy, room quiet and well equipped; plunger coffee, extra pillows etc. We were able to accomodate our dog for $30 flat fee, no problems at all. Great accesssible shower facility too. "

"Owner really rude and aggressive, knocking on the door at 10.00 asking us to leave. Not 10.10 or 10.01. It seem he was waiting at the door looking at his watch. After I said ok, and even when he could see that my baby was half dressed, he knocked again 30 seconds later. In two months in New Zealand staying at different places I have never experienced such horrible behavior. "
