Excelente ubicación
Excelente atención por parte del staff. Esta a pasos de la gondola de los niños y de adultos. Los cuartos estan de buen tamaño y la cocina si esta equipada, importante porque en Taos no hay mucho que hacer ademas de ski y pasamos mucho tiempo ahi, muy recomendable.

The location is great. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was really hot. Not able to control temperature at all. The spa area of the building was closed until further notice.

Heater wouldn’t turn off and made it hard to sleep because so hot. Neighbors were so loud and disruptive it took away from experience

The hot tub and sauna did not work. Blamed it on COVID.

Thank you for staying with us!Unfortunately, the hot tub and sauna were closed during the covid period. When it was time to open it back up, there were many repairs which needed to be done. Proximity to the base lift cant be beat. From your ski locker its just steps to the snow. Full Kitchen made lunches & hydration easy and the small on site store & bar/ restauran were both super convenient.

Great location, Beds suck
The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The beds were terrible either too soft or very used, uncomfortable. The best thing about this property is the location.

This place its like taken out of a book or a movie. Those stories about Europe and Christmas we grew up with. The neighborhood is amazingly beautiful.

Room was nice and was well worth what I paid for it. the only issue is that the rooms are warmed with water flowing in pipes in the ground. So I'm sure in the winter time its nice and warm, however in the spring or summer these room will not cool down at all. With the fan and all the windows open, it was still to hot in the room. Also the sauna was not open.

Very convenient to the gondola.
Everything was nice but there is no adjusting the heat because it is on a boil system. Had to open the balcony door the heat was so bad.

The guy at the desk -MITCH-was amazing, we had a late arrival and he was still there to help us check in. He even offered to open the store to get milk for my son. :)

The staff was lovely and very busy trying to accommodate all the arrivals on a holiday weekend. They needed help during the rush at check-in. We loved the facility and the promise of snow. We're interested in returning. Thanks for a nice evening.

The place is much better in person than the pictures, great stay!
Great location in the Taos Ski Valley, the property looks much better in person than the pictures. Cozy stay and easy, contactless process for check-in and out. We would love to stay again at Snakedance!

We spent the night and part of the day on either side of our night. The ski area reminded me of Vail in its early years. Was a please t retreat.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at The Snakedance Condos. Due to COVID restrictions, the HOA closed the public hot tub in 2020 and it has not reopened. We are hoping to reopen at some point post pandemic. Our guests health and well being are of utmost importance!

Beautiful mountain condo.
We wanted a nice night stay before a big hike on the mountain. The condo unit was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and we had a wonderful night sleep. Ammenities were great. The hike went well!!!

Hot at Snakedance
The room was nice. But was 78 degrees inside during the stay. Outside temperature was ~60 so we opened up the windows but still could not get the rooms to cool down. We were lucky that we were in the room very little. Something definitely wrong with temp controls.

Monty, Thank you for staying with us and your review. The unit you were in is in the shade, so you were not experiencing solar gain. Our heating system has been turned off for several weeks. Everyone should see Taos Valley. Being groceries or you’re stuck with a food hassle.

Yes, everyone should see Taos Ski Valley! Unfortunately, it is like being at the end of the world here, but its so pleasant :) Restaurants and groceries are limited here. Of course staffing is still an post covid issue. The great news, Cid's Market will be opening a grocery store later this year TSV !! Hope to see you back soon.
