Great place in Taos ski valley
We enjoyed the perfect family house with a ski in and ski out location. We had everything we needed and I felt we weee almost staying in our own ski house.

Great family stay
We stayed with 2 littles (4 and 5 yo) along with 5 adults, and the house worked perfectly. The upstairs bedrooms were smaller than expected based on the pictures, but they worked for us. We really appreciated that the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and we cooked all of our meals at the house during our 5 day stay. All in all I would definitely recommend and stay again!

20 Thumbs Up!
20 thumbs? Because all 10 of us fit nicely in this home and we all gave it 2 thumbs up! It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed inside and outside the home, and suited us well. Sledding next to the house was perfect for the kids! It says "ski in/ski out" but the walk to the slopes wasn't easy. The walk takes you down the street, through a narrow path, and up a steep slope. We chose to drive down to the base each day instead. This was no problem at all to us because we also had family staying down there. Overall, this place is a must-stay! Clean and in a great location! The owners were responsive, yet we really didn't need to bother them much. We'd stay there again!

Great location!
Clean house and great location! Short walk to the lifts. My only note is there are two rooms with 4 small beds in each room making them very crowded and hard to use for adults. I understand having lots of beds for children and I’m sure for some family’s this is really nice but imo I think 1 rooms with 4 small beds is plenty and the other room would be better off with another queen bed. Really great place though and worth every penny :)

Taos home
Great home in a great location. Easy walk to bunny hill with fast easy access to lift 1. Kids were able to walk it in under 10 minutes in ski boots. Owner was very accommodating to our few requests, which was greatly appreciated and improved our stay. I hope to return.

Perfect For Two Families
Great property that had everything we needed. Location is fantastic as you can walk down to the base within minutes to eat or shop or just hang out. Ski in/out worked well, though I will say that there is a little walk required (including two small bridges and a small hill to get onto the run than takes you to the base). I only mention that as it can be tricky if you have younger kids for whom you are still carrying equipment. Two floors with one adult room, one bunk room, and a bathroom each, make the split between two families easy. Based on the pictures online, all bunks used to be downstairs but that has changed. The split the way it is today made more sense to us but it also results in the room with the four bunks being quite crowded. Just know that. Not a big deal if you’re on the slopes all day anyway. The table had chairs for six and three more spots are available at the bar. Owner is extremely responsive and accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We love Taos and would definitely return to this house.

Great family cabin!
We stayed here with my parents and our three kids and we couldn’t be happier. The layout of the house was really nice, everything was very comfortable and clean, and the walk to the nearby creek is really beautiful. Enjoyed coffee in the mornings gently swinging in the hammock on the deck. Would definitely recommend.

Great host and house. Ski in/out with a hike.
This house is great for sleeping multiple people Since it comes with 10 separate beds. On room has four bunk beds so best for kids. The location is great if you don’t mind a hile and taking the car to eat. 4WD req’d. We recommend this house.

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped. We definitely enjoyed our stay! Perfect for our family! The driveway had to be cleared when we arrived which took quite a while with three grown men working.

Just what we needed!
This house was perfect for two four-person families on a long weekend trip to Taos Ski Valley. The layout met our needs, and the location can’t be beat. And the house is charming! The only time we needed the host, he responded promptly and was very helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect mountain getaway
This is the third time our family has stayed here and it is always amazing! This home is well equipped for a great vacation… games, puzzles, lots of seating and even snow shoes! It’s a perfect location for everything in Taos Ski Valley and the surrounding area.

A cool place to stay
The place delivers as promised. Comfy, accommodating, well located for hiking and skiiing. Some bedrooms are small, but were OK. A great upstairs deck/veranda. Perfect for morning coffee or evening sunset viewing.

Very nice home near the slope
The four bedroom two bath worked well for our group of 7. Two up two down both have shared bath. Wonderful wood stove in living room. One regret the deck was covered with ice and snow 2’ deep that we had to clear ourselves which at the price seemed strange given no recent snow.

Dads ski weekend away
House was exactly as advertised. Fit 6 middle age dads just fine. We drew straws for the bunks. It was walk to slope but about as far as I want to walk in ski boots carrying skis (remember middle age). Kitchen had everything we needed and cooked in most nights.

A nice place to stay
We had a nice stay with family and friends, the location was great and walkable to the mountain and village. Communication with property manager was easy and quick. The house itself is dated but well cared for. The rooms were smaller than we expected and felt a bit cramped.

Lodging well designed for family group
Would have preferred a better description to the location of the house, although being lost is not serious problem for that area. Property owner replied quickly after I requested the wifi password. Although the house was one of the best encountered for both maps and information on the area, we could not locate the standard check-in, check-out instructions. Although, again, we received a quick reply regarding check-out information. The kitchen was particularly well outfitted. Which was much appreciated in meal preparation. Beds were comfortable and as noted in the property description. No nearby neighbors, and very quiet at night. The outside porch/balcony proved a particularly nice gathering and relaxation point. Easy about 10 minute walk to the ski village. Access to numerous hiking trails.

Nice summer hiking base
A quick stay of only three days, but we managed to hike three peaks. We cook our meals and brought our own food. We did enjoy the brats and view a few times at the brat house at the foot of lift 4. Would come back again

This property was excellent!
We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! They had everything we needed to cook our meals and plenty of towels, ect. The only complaint that I would have is that the cleaning staff came 1 hr before we had to be out and sat in their car right in front of the house with their windows down. It made us feel like we needed to hurry and get out. That's not the owners fault though. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent Taos Ski Valley Stay
My family of 6 stayed in late spring. Just before the higher altitude aspens all around the house bloomed. Still very pretty and temps in upper 60s during the day. It was a little cool at night, but not frigid (light jackets). No snow around the house or in the ski valley. All green. Mostly sunny, some afternoon rain. The house was great, plenty of beds! Very comfortable and cozy. The house, including the kitchen, had everything we needed. We used the propane grille and fire pit in the evening. It was very nice. Very quiet area. The owner was also very responsive and great to work with. We highly recommend and would stay again.

Perfect Taos Getaway
We were here for a couple days skiing. Very short walk carrying skis to get right on the slopes! House was great with plenty of room to spread out on different levels. Nice kitchen but bring groceries! It's 20 minutes to the nearest store.

COVID Staycation
Our family had a great stay. We usually spend a week or so skiing in CO, but decided staying in state was a safer option this year. Jeffery's home had everything we needed and it's proximity to skiing without having to drive was AWESOME! Would highly reccommend. We look forward to being able to stay here again

Cozy, well-located ski cabin that is perfectly equipped for groups
Just got back from a great 4-night stay at Cinco Hermanas. Loved the woodwork, New Mexico tile, art selections, wood stove (the centerpiece of our evenings) with plenty of firewood provided, books and Taos guides to read, and new furnishings and bedding throughout. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with spices, cooking oil, coffee filters, and some paper and cleaning products. You can tell the owners/managers really care about their guests total experience with all of these essentials provided. The configuration of the house has been recently updated with a new King master suite downstairs, which was a nice surprise. It's a great layout for two small families or couples traveling together. And of course you can't beat the location, only a few minutes walk to the main resort area, but secluded from the crowds on a quiet, wooded street. The property manager, Jeffrey, was very responsive and helpful with a check-in adjustment we requested. I highly recommend Cinco Hermanas for your Taos Ski Valley vacation and our group would definitely stay again.
