Not our last visit...
Everyone in our party enjoyed the stay and raved about the comfort and charm of the apartment. Great location (traffic noise can be daunting at times), nice amenities, clean, well-appointed, charming decor and fun architectural features. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Christmas in Taos
We loved this cozy southwestern escape in the heart of Taos. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking Christmas dinner. The living and dining room was complemented by the fireplace. Plenty of firewood was provided. Our family relaxed and enjoyed this holiday experience. Whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone.

The Perfect Taos Spot
The Debor House worked out perfectly for us. In Taos for a family wedding, it was large enough for people to stop by & visit. Plenty of room for meals, well equipped kitchen, comfortable set up, close to everything. We will definitely rent again if we are in Taos.

Great Location and Great Hosts
Convenient location with dedicated parking just a block off the plaza. The host was great to deal with. House is cozy and well setup. The only trade out for the great location is is road noise, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open at night. We loved having the deck away from the street for morning coffee and gathering in the evenings. Enjoyed our stay!

The perfect location!
We loved staying right downtown! There's a lot of beauty and life in the center of Taos and it was great to be a part of it. Staying above a bar was totally fine. Music didn't get too loud or stay on too late. Plus, it was fun to pop down and have a drink! The apartment was charming and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted very well for cooking. The property manager was very helpful and easy to reach. Some of the decor could use an update and we wished the deck had an umbrella because it was very hot in the sun. But otherwise an overall wonderful stay!

Accommodating with great location!
Enjoyed a girls trip in the heart of downtown Toas. Apartment had so much character and enough space as well as enough accommodations for myself and friends. Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home within walking distance of shops, food, and a great local coffee shop.

Quaint Apartment in heart of Taos!
This was a cute very well appointed second story apartment. The furnishings and decor are tasteful and appropriate for the locale. We were there in June and were pretty comfortable as far as the heat and being able to cool off. The location couldn’t be better if what you want is to be right in the middle of Taos dining, shopping and sightseeing. I would definitely book this apartment again.

A hidden gem!
Spacious and beautifully decorated apartment in the middle of town. Walk to everything. Grab a late night drink at the distillery downstairs. Huge patio to hang out on and enjoy the sunset. Will definitely book again.

Amazing location!
If you are looking for a premium location in Taos, close to shops, food and the Plaza, this place is for you. Walking distance to nearly everything you go to Taos for, unless it’s skiing. Unique Taos home. Very comfortable. Great deck for sitting out and having a drink in the cool evening. Thanks for letting us stay there!

Perfection!
What a wonderful stay. I was a long time local that moved away from Taos a few years ago and love to come back for visits. This rental was amazing to enjoy all Taos has to offer. Beautifully decorated, perfect amount of space and the location can not be beat. What a wonderful 4th of July! Thank you so much Wendy!

Excellent location and host. Very Taos
Classic Northern NM aesthetics. Very easy to deal with the owner/manager. Excellent cocktail bar downstairs. Simple walk to everything in the plaza. Only challenges were the water pressure when flushing the toilet and the jumpy hot water when showering, but that too is classic Taos! Enjoy!

Great location. Comfortable beds. Place is run down and needs attention.
Stairs leading up to the apartment are dangerous and need to be replaced. Lampshade, located in the CENTER of the room was torn, All pads on the dining room chairs were torn and windows on the outside were filthy. Wooden floors in high traffic areas are Scuffed and damaged. The master Bath tub doesn’t, drain (standing in 6 inches of water while showering). The fireplace needs touch up plant after winters use. The swamp cooling system, gas grill and front door key pad were all broken when we arrived. The deck has no shade had accumulated leaves and broken light pieces. Massive amount of weeds in front of the unit. I bought windex and cleaned the outside of the windows (the whole apartment), removed the pads from the dining chairs and swapped the torn lampshade for a better one from another room. I found some rugs in a closet and tried to cover some of damaged flooring. I swept the deck and removed all debris. Over the next five days of our visit, the caretaker had the swamp cooling system repaired, replaced the gas grill with a new one and brought us a key for the front door. Had to live with the stairs, shower, fireplace and weeds.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway!
Perfectly placed in downtown Taos, this apartment was a cozy and relaxing location. With shopping, great restaurants within walking distance, easy access to sightseeing venues and parks, you will be hard pressed to find a better rental in Taos! The apartment is done in a traditional New Mexico style with bright colors contrasted with Adobe reds, browns and yellows. Our only issue was the bedrooms are warm at night. The supplied fans help, and we ended up opening a window to make the room cooler. We really enjoyed our stay here, and loved the coziness, amenities and decor!

Best place to stay in Taos
I cannot speak highly enough about this property. We have stayed at many on VRBO. The owners are the nicest people we have ever dealt with! The apartment is very big and a perfect location! Walked to everything! The parking was great. The place is decorated so nicely. The living room has a big tv and we would sit around and watch movies. The best restaurants in Taos are right out your door. Literally you can walk to everything. Shopping was all around. And yet the apartment was cozy and we loved coming home to it. Our kids went skiing which was a short drive, and we went to Ojo Caliente which was close as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to see all you can in Taos!

Great place! Right in all the action!
This little place was just about perfect. The location makes this place amazing. Close to all the great shopping and excellent restaurants. The “condo” has everything you need and has an amazing southwestern feel with all the decorations and architecture. We stayed for Christmas and went skiing, which was very accessible Taos ski valley and Angel Fire were about 30-40 min away. Our stay at debor was beyond amazing, there are just a few things that you should be aware of... 1st the stairs going up to the place may need some updating did not feel very sturdy would hate for someone’s trip to be ruined by a simple fix. 2nd the beds are definitely in need of updating. Unfortunately a bit uncomfortable which made for some restless nights but everything else this place has makes up for it. Let me reiterate, this place is amazing. In no way am I saying I would never return, I gave the place 5 stars!!! I’m just saying these two suggestions should be looked at to make others stays comforatable and as fun as ours was. If you want to stay in the heart of Taos this is the place to be!!!

Thank you very much for the nice review of our Taos home and for the information concerning the beds and stairs. The City recently inspected the apartment, including the stairs; we met and exceeded all requirements. We will, however, check the stairs and the mattresses for wear. We are glad you enjoyed your vacation and hope you will consider coming back to the DeBor house soon, it is a great place to visit during the summer months as well.

Everything you want and need in Taos
My wife and I have been traveling to Taos for 20 years and have stayed everywhere from the ski valley to Valdez to Blueberry Hill and nothing compares to this charming 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Taos. The space itself is well thought out and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped ready to cook an evening meal or just brew coffee first thing. Being on the Main Street we got to enjoy the town come alive in the mornings and would open our window just to watch while we drank our coffee. The entire home is spotless and is clearly well maintained. In fact we love it so much we would buy it if we could! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Taos that is convenient to galleries, shops and restaurants but enjoy access to the ski valley and all the mountains have to offer - this is your place. Five stars.

Perfect location!!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Very clean and welcoming home. This home was in the perfect location to easily enjoy a nice dinner after a long day of skiing. We would absolutely love to stay here again.
