This is a beautiful pueblo style home in a great location just 10 minutes north of Taos. If you plan to ski at Taos Ski Valley, you are perfectly positioned for the easy drive there. You are also just up the road from Medley, which was our favorite fine dining restaurant in Taos. I've always loved pueblo style homes, so I could not have been happier just relaxing here and enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains and high desert plain. Checking in and out was a breeze. If I ever return to Taos, I would book this home in a heartbeat again.

The house was very comfortable with nice furniture, beds and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house!

This was the second time we have stayed at this house, and we hope to stay here again! We had a wonderful time with our family of 9. Plenty of room for everybody!

Wonderful property in an excellent location. The pool table was such a hit, boys loved playing after a long day of skiing. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent two weeks at the Mountain View house. This is our fourth visit to Taos NM and our second time staying at the Mountain View House. Our visit was lovely and restful just what we needed. The house is perfectly suited for our needs and had everything we wanted to cook and rest and take walks around the area. Our two small dogs loved the backyard and we felt safe allowing them to walk around the area without being disturbed or hurt. They loved the green grass which is rare for the area. We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay at Mountain View again.

Gorgeous property

So much space! Every bedroom except one has its own bathroom (one has a steam shower!). The billiards room with a fireplace was a huge hit and the kitchen was to die for. Nicely furnished and plenty of places to spread out and not be in each other’s way. Beds were comfy. Super quiet location

After Christmas Ski Trip

We loved this property! Everything was very well maintained and well stocked. The layout is perfect for a family with teen/young adult children. We loved the pool table, steam shower and hot tub.

Perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip to Taos. We are 4 couples and one 18-month old. The deciding factor was the dining table for eight and the hot tub and billiards room were a plus. The home was very well supplied w kitchen tools and basics. Great floor plan and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a group

It was a beautiful house with great views. We had plenty of space for our group. It was a quick drive up to the ski valley and the hot tub was a perfect way to end a great day of skiing.

Taos Stay

Our family consisting of 6 adults and two children had a wonderful time at this home. The home was as described with plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet and serene and not too far from town. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Home for a Group

This home was perfect for a friends ski trip to Toas. We live in Denver and have stayed at our fair share of mountain houses and this one had really unique, hand crafted design elements that we loved. The home was also perfect for entertaining, big dinners, watching football and playing games. All of the beds were comfortable as well. I would highly recommend staying here!

El Prado Treasure

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely, traditional New Mexico home. We were visiting for a family wedding in Taos and it was perfect for our family. I would have given a 5 star rating for this property, but we had a few issues. These issues were promptly attended to but they did take some time to resolve.

Wonderful Property

We loved our stay at Mountain View. The neighborhood is quiet and close to activities. The house was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We especially enjoyed the lovely mountain view from the back patio and watching hummingbirds feed on the garden plants. The house was clean, and the caretaker was very responsive. There were plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked, and all appliances were in good working order. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountain View and will be back!

Beautiful Taos views

The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t cook while there (too many restaurants where we wanted to eat!), but the kitchen would have had everything we needed had we wanted to cook. Plenty of room for our 5 adult and 2 children group. Some of us loved using the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful New Mexico star lit sky at night! Both the home and the property were lovely and we’d definitely choose it again!

Lovely visit

My family and I had a great time in this beautiful house. The house is exactly as described. Everyone commented on the beds being very comfortable. The check-in process could have been a tad easier in that the check-in instructions, including key location, could have been provided to us rather than us having to call. It was only a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was a truly lovely visit.

Quite and peaceful.

Beautiful home just outside of Taos. Enjoyed the quite of the neighborhood. Loved the lay out of the home, we were there with siblings and parents and it gave us all our own space. Only complaint would be that there was one shower and a toilet that were not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. There was all a broken back door lock that needed attention. But overall we were very happy with the property.
