We absolutely love this casita
This is our second time to stay at this casita and we love it. It’s perfect for my husband and I. We can walk to our favorite restaurants in Taos and it’s easy to drive to Taos ski mountain. The place is so cute and cozy and has everything we need. We will be staying there again next year. I highly recommend.

Nice Place
I would stay here again. Only negative was i could not get cold water out of the faucet. (not a fan of brushing my teeth with warm water). Great location. Nice inside. Good communication.

Cozy place
Great spot. Place was very clean. The casita was well furnished and had everything you could possible need. Bed was comfortable. There was even a coin washer/dryer attached to unit. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway.
We came for a quick weekend to ski. This place was perfect… walkable to everything we needed outside of the ski hill. It was a great place to rest by the fire after skiing all day and get some shopping and eating in during our down time. Will definitely stay here again.

Total Pleasure
Wonderful, charming, authentic facility with forethought afforded given to every amenity that we might and did need. It afforded us a perfect location within walking distance to the heart of the Taos village. Since we have family in Taos, this will be our go to location whenever we return.

Delightful Casita
This casita was within walking distance of the plaza and many restaurants. Despite its proximity to everything, the casita was very quiet. The home was clean and cozy. There are multiple great hikes within 20-30 minutes of Taos.

Excellent location.
This is a very comfortable and charming place to stay. It’s just a couple of blocks from the Taos Plaza, which made it perfect for exploring, shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Charming is spot on!
We arrived at La Casita in the dark, so made easy arrangements with the property manager earlier in the day. We walked to a nearby pizza/brewery for dinner, and to other shops and eateries close by throughout our stay - the location of LC is excellent. This little place is comfy, cozy; immediate hot water; working appliances (we used the fridge, stove, oven, and laundry room). We didn't use the fireplace, but it looks nice and has easy directions. We skied up at Ski Valley 2 days and the drive from LC was easy too. Overall a great stay!

Happy Getaway!
We rendezvoused between Denver and Lubbock. When we arrived everyone in the party said "better than we expected" and when we left said "we would do that again - and we often don't say that!" Location could not have been better - we skied, shopped, ate out and loved the museums. We cooked in the kitchen and had all we needed. Host accommodated our special request. Use of the fireplace was much appreciated!

We highly enjoyed our stay at La Casita! It was an excellent location- next to a Mexican restaurant for happy hour, 2 blocks from the square, and within a10-15 minute walk from dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. La Casita was clean and had all of the amenities for us to cook, be cozy, and have space to rest & relax. Dog friendly was an added plus :) the caretaker was very helpful and very resolution any questions, which we didn’t have many because we were given many instructions & info in the home. Would recommend to anyone & would consider staying here if we return!

wonderful location and great space
My husband and I loved the whole complex of casitas they were very nice and it felt really safe. The location to town is ideal and the whole check-in process was very easy. Our casita was very comfortable and we used the fireplace everyday. We can't wait to come back!

A walk down memory road
Outstanding, literally a block off the plaza, maybe two to Bent street. What a beautiful property whose pictures only tell a portion of the story. I was last in Taos from 71 to 74 in my late teens to early twenties. Found my first casita one block up from where we stay. If we return this is the only place we’ll stay if it is available. 5 Star’s 🌠

Not quiet !
PROs: Well furnished and cared for. Location can't be beat. 2 blocks from plaza. Walk to shopping and countless restaurants. Laundry. CONs: No AC or dishwasher. Temp is often 80+ degrees. Fans and open windows help. This is a unit in a small complex of similar small units very close together. Shared parking area is tiny and often occupied by outsiders who routinely occupy spaces or block access. No outdoor space to enjoy air and nature. Small window feel confining. Noisy neighbor (who claimed HOA president!) talked loudly on speakerphone for 3 days.

Very nice visit.
One thing you need to take care of is the small drawer just to the left of stove. It is not connected on the back and I almost dropped the entire drawer the first time I pulled it out. Also, the bed quilt needs to be replaced. That one on the bed is old and looks dirty. I don’t think it was but looked it. These two small problems did not affect our stay. Was a great apartment.

Delightful
What a little treasure we found while searching VRBO! The location is excellent with so many shops, town square, restaurants within short walking distances. Our unit was perfect for us, perfectly comfortable & clean, & exuded the historic & authentic feel of Taos. You can tell the owners want you to feel comfortable while there. Added bonuses: our time coincided with fragrant blooming lilacs & fruit trees, new buds of cottonwoods & aspens. Also, fun bird watching as a neighbor had a bird feeder up - western tanagers, northern flickers & house finches kept us on the little front porch when we weren’t out sight seeing the area. Highly recommend!

La Casita was such a cozy historic (with updates) home. We are so thankful to have such a great place that was dog friendly. It was well stocked with the essentials. Only a block away from Taos Plaza. Steps away from great food. Highly recommend.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!!
Property management company was very good. Communication was clear and timely. Caretaker, Kristi was super friendly and helpful! Parking on-site was convenient. We were able to park our car and walked everywhere. We visited many local restaurants and businesses on and around the plaza and the atmosphere was very friendly and open everywhere we went. A lovely down-to-earth vibe. The Rolling Still Distillery and the Taos Mesa Brewing Co were highlights for us! The Casita was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. Bed was very comfortable. The Roku TV was a very nice feature as we spent most nights cozy on the couch including a nice fire on our first night there. Definitely recommend.

I was extremely impressed by the interior - elegant and functional. The courtyard was charming, and I took many baths, and had a nice fire going. The caretaker and property management team were amazing.

Great place to stay!
This place is kept perfectly clean and is just as nice as the pictures. Great location near the center of town. The sleeper sofa is the nicest I have slept in and is just as comfortable as any bed

Perfect setting for a private getaway
My stay was just perfect from beginning to end. The casita is adorable and furnished beautifully. The sofa and bed are both very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. I came to do some writing and the quiet neighborhood was perfect for reflection and focus. As an added bonus, a nearby church bells chimed throughout the day. Just lovely.
