"This is a lovely, quiet property not far from the center of town. My wife has mobility challenges, so the innkeeper directed us to an accessible spot in the rear. The owner is a savvy woman who has traveled extensively and knows about what makes a tourism driven town run. We spent most of our time taking in museums and the natural beauty of the area. Each evening though, after dinner, we retreated to the inn to sit in the common area for a cup of tea and to peruse her collection of coffee table...

"Some rooms have undergone renovations, some have not. There's a big difference in the quality of the rooms including comfort of mattresses, size and quantity of pillows, working outlets, working lightbulbs, and key readers. Also the placement of furniture is strange- the bathroom door and toilet barely miss each other when closing the door."

"Some of the front desk help was a bit odd. Not necessarily focused on the client and sometimes on their own activities. A pleasant stay and the location is lovely. "

"Maintenance of exterior of B&B is lack luster at best. Rooms are ok..little to no hot water and/or water pressure. No AC was being used, so windows and fan had to suffice and room was quite hot during the daytime. Location is very close to Ski Valley and hiking which was nice. No TV or phones in rooms. Breakfast is extremely good, although only served for one hour every morning. Would not stay here again, there are better choices in the area."

"This was once a nice place. Owner is a cheapskate, won't spend money on necessary repairs. The staff is as helpful as they can be given the circumstances. Office is not manned at night, if you have a problem yer out of luck. Linens are threadbare. None of the services advertised online are available."

"The staff were helpful and friendly. When my room needed attention the staff were quick to take care of things. The property is starting to undergo some renovations which are needed. Was a reasonably priced room for the time of year (holidays) and ski season in Taos area. "
