Cozy Stay
My fiance and I got to enjoy the beautiful town and plaza not far from the property. We also only had about a 30 minute drive tot the resort. The hot-tub was very clean and since it was winter we had no bugs other than ants. Close up your food if you bring any as there are a few ants. For the price, its a gem.

Location is great and the Price is Right
We really enjoyed our stay. Here are the Pros: > Location. Close to DT Taos, only a short drive to Taos ski area. > Price. This is a great deal for the area. > Very clean. > Attentive host with fast response times. > Clean hot tub. We were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. CONS: > The shower is super tiny. OK for a couple nights, but not longer. Ladies, definitely don't plan to shave in the shower - there's not room! > Noise. If there are people staying in the upstairs unit, you will hear every. single. move. Bring ear plugs. > Carport positioning. It's nice bc it's private/in the alley, but when cars pull in, the headlights shine directly into the downstairs unit. Since downstairs is a studio, if someone pulls in and you're in bed, your "bedroom" all the sudden is flooded with bright light. Bring an eye mask.

Taos Cabin
We loved the location of this property & served our purposes well. Our pups were comfortable as well. The only drawback of the property was the very small shower. We were unable to lift our arms over our heads to shampoo or turn around at all without hitting our elbows against the wall. Hard to relax when you can’t take a decent shower. Also no hair dryer.

When we arrived the cleanliness of the property was not acceptable. We sent pictures to Evolve Management and they immediately refunded our money. Evolve gave us the phone number for VRBO Relocation; after 46 minutes on the phone and most of it on hold, no one answered and we received no assistance.

Vert Taos vibe. Very small shower and noise from guests above are easily overcome by great space, hot tub, enclosed patio, and excellent location. Attention by host to deliver a small appliance was outstanding.

We love Taos
Great place, private. Loved the heated floors. Great place for a pet. One suggestion is not to have people do their own dishes before they leave. Some of the dishes were dirty, when people are leaving they are generally not concerned with cleaning well.

Great week in Taos
My wife, 2 dogs, and myself had a great week social distancing in Taos, NM. The one room accommodation was great for us; and we had a wonderful time. The hot tub was a great source of relaxation. The location was a few blocks from the center of Taos. The covered parking was great; and the host called with some directions just before we arrived. Internet access (which is critical for my techy life) was good. Quirky things included a tube type tv although with full 'Direct TV' . In general a great trip, and I'd do it again.

The space is small for the price but is located walking distance from town. If you like a comfortable bed I would not recommend this place as the bed is not very comfortable.

Great location, uncomfortable beds
Loved the location and the space, particularly the hot tub . . . But the double bed and the sofa pullout were uncomfortable. Bed upgrades are my only suggestion.

Not worth it
We had several issues with the space: 1. The bed was an air mattress 2. The covered parking spot wouldn't fit a truck or SUV. 3. The toilet paper was 1 ply 4. The bathroom ceiling was so low a man of 6 foot couldn't stand in it 5. The upstairs "neighbors" were so loud (we chalk this up to construction issues).

Margaret, we're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We take feedback very seriously and have shared your comments with the homeowner, who has confirmed that the bed is queen-sized sleep number bed, and although mattress comfort is extremely subjective and personal, we apologize that it was not to your liking. The owner also provides additional parking for vehicles that do not fit comfortably under the covered spot. The home is located in the historic district of Taos and due to the old plumbing, they are required to use 1-ply toilet paper. If they had known that the upstairs neighbors were loud, they would have been happy to reach out to them and let them know of the quiet hours. Loved the layout and decor - Owner was very nice and responded to everything I needed. No top sheet on the bed ... unwashed “dank” smell on the coverlet and pillows covers or general bedding / not sure Enclosed Patio is wonderful for sitting and night sky viewing and secure pet containment but not maintained with empty pottery and unkempt panted area in the middle. No ground coffee for the coffee machine - had to leave for coffee in the morning... Neighboring fence wall/ dog barking incessantly for the majority of one full day day and evening.. owner said they would try to stop it when I texted them... Internet never worked for me on Iphone iPad or laptop- owner offered to Check my devices and set it up, but I don’t need help with devices to be honest.... I appreciate the offer but the problem was not on my end...

Alison, we're glad you had a good experience with the homeowner during your stay. The owner was unaware that there was no top sheet and will be working with the cleaners to make sure there is a top sheet going forward. The owners will also be working on the patio area to make sure it provides a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Although they haven't received feedback in the past regarding the dogs barking, they have a system in place to ensure they don't disrupt guests. We're sorry to hear you had some difficulties with the internet. The owners can confirm that it is working properly, as their devices, and the upstairs tenant's devices are picking up the signal successfully. The owners hope that in the future, guests will reach out immediately with any concerns so they can address them promptly and ensure the most comfortable stay.
