No Water

The water coming out of the faucets turned brown the first night. It ran out the next morning. The managers sent a plumber and he said the well had run dry. The property manager said she only had one other listing she could move us too which was a smaller cabin in town. This wasn't an option for us because we had members of our group that couldn't make that work. We had little or no water for most of the trip. We ended up coming home early. The property manager refunded the night we didn't stay. We would have left earlier but had already bought a 3 day pass and didn't want to loose the entire 1600 dollars we spent on tickets and rentals. ( ended up loosing 600) When we arrived there were signs this had been going on. Brown water stains in toilets ect. The plumber and managers said the drought had been effecting the water table. I wish the property managers gave us a heads up that we might be dealing with water issues. We could have rescheduled or made plans to stay somewhere else.

Wonderful cabin!

We really enjoyed this cabin. Beautiful Mountain views and short walk to the river. The large family room with pool table was a great place for gathering. We hope to come back soon!

Camp Griffin

We found Camp Griffin to be a really neat house. There was plenty of room, and the pool table was a big hit. The only complaint we have is the heat distribution in the house. It was cold on the ground floor and upstairs was like a furnace.

Beautiful Cabin!!

We had such an amazing time in this beautiful cabin. The view from the master bedroom was incredible. The beds were all very comfortable and everything was really clean. We enjoyed have the two living areas and loved having the pool table to play.

Beautiful cabin with an even more beautiful view. The pictures online do not do this cabin justice. If was perfect for our family of 6. It was a little drive to town but the view was worth it to us. We hope to stay here again.

Awesome cabin

Loved the cabin, perfect for family time and fun! Pool table was a busy place to be! The back yard was wonderful and the walk to the river was not long at all! The master bedroom was great and really liked having a washer and dryer! Having 3 bathrooms was so nice when everyone was trying to get ready!! Kitchen was well stocked and house was clean!!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful time! The house was everything we expected. The only bump is it needs a new coffee pot and tea kettle. The kitchen was stocked with an assortment of dishes and pots. The beds were comfortable and the pool table was so much fun. We plan to stay there every year.

Wonderful place and location

This was a great cabin getaway for a long weekend. The place was roomy, and the game room kept us all entertained. It was a very short walk to the river and the area was great for the kids to play. The trip into town was a very short drive. My daughter left her stuffed animal and the property managers were able to find it and send it back. Thank You!!

Quiet, clean & beautiful

We loved our stay at Camp Griffin. The cabin was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Great beds, modern amenities. From the porch, we listened to the elk bugle all evening and one night were able to see dozens of elk come out of the timber. We were so happy with our stay. Traffic is light in the area and the cabin is set far enough off road that it doesn’t bother you when the occasional car drives by. Could hear the river from the porch. The path to the river from the backyard is easily accessible for most and you can tell owners have taken care to make it as easy as possible without disturbing too much. The cabin is set away from other cabins so it is so quiet and peaceful. Inside, we loved the pool table, WiFi and tv. We didn’t have cell service at the cabin so the WiFi really came in handy to check in with home. WiFi was reliable for us. We were really pleased with the property and would book it again if we get the opportunity!

Great location and place, unfortunately there were mice in the house leaving their evidence even in one of the beds. Coffee maker was broken. Clearly not the owners issue if they aren't there often, more the property management issues.

Great Mountain Lodge

Wonderful property and a very responsive and helpful property management! We stayed at Camp Griffin for a recent family ski trip, and it was a perfect property for enjoying everything RR has to offer. There were 4-6 foot snow drifts in the Upper Valley while we stayed, but you wouldn’t know it from the driveway and road…the property management did an excellent job making sure access was maintained and safe. We had endless fun building a snow cave, our own custom sled track, and a few snowmen! We loved this property!

Thanksgiving in the woods

The write up is accurate, and the property is amazing! A little more firewood during the cold season would have been nice, but we managed. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Worth the money

Wonderful cabin And the property is on about an acre so you’re not just next to somebody else you have privacy we had an issue with the heater the property management company took care of it immediately . The only thing negative,we had to haul our own trash to town I had to put it in my vehicle and take it to town and find a dumpster to dispose it. and that’s the only thing negative . The river is behind the house but it is about a 15 to 20 ft climb up and down to go to it . But all-in all wonderful my family and I we stay again

Fabulous place to stay

Beautiful scenery, quiet, great place to stay and relax, accommodations are excellent. Red River is a really nice town to visit and shop, and always eat at Brett's Bistro in Red River.

Mountain cabin

Loved this location. Super clean & roomy, we loved the pool table and the backyard fire pit. Communication with the host was excellent. We never made it down to the river below because of the steep incline. We would definitely come back to this cabin! Thank you
