Wake up to sunrise over the rice fields, birdsong and soft tropical light. Your private cabana sits in open countryside, surrounded by nature, space and calm. It is a peaceful place for couples and slow travellers who want to switch off, reconnect and settle into a gentler rhythm.

Inside, the cabana feels warm, simple and easy to relax in. The sleeping area, indoor living space and loft net are designed for quiet moments — reading, resting or simply watching the light move across the fields. The loft net is one of the highlights: a peaceful place to lie back, feel the breeze and take in the open views.

The open-air bathroom is another special part of the experience. Private and spacious, with natural textures and plants around you, it is designed to feel fresh, simple and connected to the outdoors. The water is naturally cool, which many guests find refreshing in the warm climate.

Outside, your private plunge pool adds another slow moment to the day — a place to cool off, rest and enjoy the quiet garden setting after the beach or a walk through the countryside.

There is also a small dining area where you can enjoy breakfast or share a home-cooked Sri Lankan dinner, prepared with care and served in a simple, personal way.

You have full access to your private cabana, including the loft net, indoor space, open-air bathroom, garden area and plunge pool. The cabana has its own entrance and is fully independent, so you can settle into your own rhythm from the moment you arrive.

Life here moves gently. Early mornings and sunset are especially peaceful, when the rice fields, birds and soft light become part of your day. You are welcome to walk through nearby village paths and countryside, visit the small lake close by, or simply stay exactly where you are — many guests find they do not feel the need to go anywhere else.

The beaches around Tangalle are about 10–15 minutes away by tuk-tuk or scooter. We are happy to help arrange transport, a scooter, local tips or anything practical you may need during your stay.

We live nearby — close enough to help when needed, always in the background if you prefer complete privacy. Some guests enjoy a quiet chat or a shared meal; others prefer to keep entirely to themselves. Both feel natural here, and we gently adapt to what suits you best.

High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is available, making longer stays or remote work easy if needed. Laundry service can be arranged on request, and a baby cot can be provided for guests travelling with a small child.
