I reserved this home for Gasparilla weekend, so I had a few MUST HAVES - I needed a close-to-downtown location, a bathtub to soak away my pain, and a big, comfy bed to sleep away the rest of the pain that came back after I took a bath, lol! This property had everything I wanted, and was *almost* perfect for me. But I'm picky. The only downside was a water heater that wasn't large enough to fill the cast iron tub in the awkward tiny bathroomCommunication with the owner was timely and courteous, and access to the space was easy. The rooms were wonderfully decorated in a warm Old Florida style. There were books EVERYWHERE! On tables, on shelves, in the bedrooms, all over the kitchen... as an avid reader, I loved it so much (there was even a fairy tale book in one of the rooms that was identical to one I had as a child). The home has tons of windows, letting in beautiful Florida light, no matter what time of day it is - I found myself *not* turning on lights, and just enjoying the sunshine. The home is spacious, with lots of different options to spread out if you come with a big family. The kitchen has every single thing you don't even realize you need, including many small appliances, and a pretty well-stocked spice rack, and an icemaker in the freezer. The bedrooms were large, not over-full of furniture that makes navigating the space annoying. Both sides of the bed had a nightstand, each bedroom had a TV with a Roku, and a small dresser; also ample closet space.
