The house itself was nice and we liked the location, located on some land, very quiet. But, some issues marred the experience. First there were no lights in one of the bathrooms, you might think that it had recently burned out, except when I checked there was no bulb at all. Then we went to cook our Christmas dinner and the stove didn't work. When I contacted the host on the light they ignored me completely. On the oven they replied "it should work, I'll contact my handy man" and then I never heard from them again. The cleaning was also sub par. The tile had maybe been swept, but definitely not mopped. There was dog hair and dirty paw prints on the couch. 3 out of 4 fire alarms were missing, and the fact that there is a gas stove with no carbon monoxide sensor is a clear hazard. The location could be great, but in our case, sadly, it was not.
