George, our host was fantastic and we could not have been happier with the house. The concierge team at Azul & Tierra designed an itinerary for our group every day and arranged for everything we needed. This included food delivery, restaurant reservations, adventure excursions, and daily transportation. A special thank you to Dani who was an incredible resource and was in constant contact with us. We can’t wait to return to Villa Aracari. Pura Vida!

George and his concierge were tremendous assets in making this a great stay. After pivoting to his home with less than 24 hours notice, they did a great job at making sure our stay was exemplary. The amenities were great, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. We thank George and would be glad to stay here in the future!

Family Vacation in Paradise

This is definitely a tropical oasis! It was the perfect location for our family (6 adults- mom, dad & adult kids) on our first trip to Costa Rica. The house is beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. We loved hanging out by the pool, enjoyed an amazing dinner with a private chef and access to the Beach Club. Natalia and her staff were awesome with helping us book the chef and a couple of excellent excursions (Catamaran sunset sail and surfing) and were very prompt with communication when we had any questions about the house and surrounding area. Hacienda Pinilla is a beautiful and very safe area. The one downfall was we didn’t have enough time to explore all that there is to enjoy in the area! So we need to come back!

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our second stay at Villa Aracari and it was just as wonderful as the first! The two primary suites worked really well for this group as it was two families, with the older teens happy to have a little privacy and independence in the casita. Natalia, the property manager, was always available to help with everything we needed -- from buying groceries to booking tours. Highly recommend this property as one of the best in Hacienda Pinilla!

Gorgeous property with incredible amenities

Our extended family of 12 stayed here to celebrate the 50th birthday of my twin sister and me. We brought our families (spouses and combined total of 6 children ages 11-17), and our elderly parents. The kitchen is well-appointed, there are plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. The pool was wonderful, there were floaties available for use. The outdoor shower was great to use to rinse off after the pool, or after coming back from the beach. The house comfortable accommodated all of us, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The outdoor shower/bathtubs felt luxurious and everyone had a chance to enjoy that. The common areas also worked for our large group for meals, playing games, and watching tv. The concierge, Nathalia, quickly responded with any questions or needs. She made recommendations for tours, swimming beaches, and restauarants, all of which were great suggestions. The owner checked in with us as well and made sure we knew he was available for any questions/needs, though Nathalia was able to help us with everything. We used the chef for 2 nights, and strongly recommend the typical Costa Rican dinner. His staff clean afterwards, so it's definitely a nice splurge. Lola's restaurant is a backroads drive, but worth it - it was our favorite restaurant! We recommend surfing lessons with Luca- fantastic! We rented cars, and also rented golf carts for the neighborhood (fun but not necessary if you have a car). This home/neighborhood is phenomenal - can't wait to return!

Stay at Villa Aracari

Great stay but make sure you have transportation when you arrive to go to Beach Club or into Tamarindo.. We didnt get a car till mid week and transfers are expensive if you like to explore.. Place and community are great.. Make sure to walk down beach 1 mile to Lolas's a local joint instead of eating at Beach club every day.. Pura Vida

Fabulous getaway

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our two families vacationing together. We loved the location, close to Tamarindo but not in town. The beach club was fabulous and it was nice to have access to the Marriott restaurants. One day the kids swam at the Marriott while we ate and another day the hotel charged $75 per person to swim with $25 of that as a food and beverage credit. That was the only bummer. We did have trouble with the in unit washer, but the host and property manager quickly did a pivot to offer daily laundry service.

Great peaceful Vacation

My family and I enjoyed our stay and a week vacation at this property. Location is great and close to many activities. We went surfing and had several meals at Lola’s which was about a 10 minute drive. We visited Playa Conchal beach which was stunning and definitely worth it. We rented cars and had no issues navigating the area. The house is new and modern and a great layout for us the enjoy. We spent many nights at the outdoor dining area and the pool. Hope to visit again soon

We loved the property. It was clean and beautiful. There was plenty of room inside and outside for our family of 12. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor lounging area as well as the grill. The kitchen was well put together and easy for more than 1 person to be cooking. All in all it was perfect for us!

Excellent Accommodations for Family/Group

The house was great. The layout accommodated two families of four and a set of grandparents very well. We all had our own space. House isn’t walkable to beach club or Marriott with young kiddos but the drive was very short. We had a blast and especially loved the chefs private dinner

Amazing house

This house was absolutely dreamy! Plenty of space for everyone, great communal area and amazing backyard. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. Neighborhood was felt safe and secure and there was literally no noise or interference. I will say this is the type of place where you would stay and take advantage of the beach club and be in one place. Getting to and getting out of the community can be a little bit of a trek. Not that it stopped us from leaving and exploring of course. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We have rented many houses in Costa Rica, but Villa Aracari was the best maintained by far. The house was clean and well appointed, the grill was like new and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was also spacious enough for three generations -- including two teenagers!

Beautiful home with all the amenities

We had a GREAT family trip !!! A couple of notes… the area is quite isolated and it is very hot… you MUST have a car in my opinion… it is not a short walk anywhere … a golf cart is useful…. But to get groceries you need a car to go to town… we had a chef for a few nights which was excellent and arranged through the concierge service who were most helpful….

Family Vacation March 2022

We had a wonderful vacation. Villa Aracari had everything we needed and more! The house is Gorgeous, Comfortable and inviting. The pool area and the outside kitchen were a huge part of our stay. Natalia was in great communication with us - anything we needed she responded right away. She arranged our home massages for all of us- we all enjoyed them so much!!
