The rental is two homes side by side, was in a prime location, but it needs some fixing up. Changes are needed to reflect the current advertised description and the current pictures of the listing. The real estate agent, who showed up unexpectedly, described it to potential buyers as “needing some TLC.”When we asked for help, the owners’ reaction left us bewildered, especially with the pots and nonstick pans being so badly scratched. We waited for a new coffeemaker to be replaced to accommodate twenty people. Since both dishwashers weren’t functioning, we opted to eat out rather than use the toxic cookware. The linens were over-worn and stained, plus limited used towels. Torn and stained upholstery is prevalent, and the outdoor patio is missing cushions or has broken chairs. Despite the host’s delayed replies and apparent unwillingness to acknowledge the problems, their responses became increasingly accusatory. All video and photo documentation was collected to facilitate the response. To match the existing listing’s description, these improvements are essential.
