We had a fantastic stay at the beach bungalows. Lovely hosts and staff, comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast and a social opportunity with other guests. Lovely relaxing setting. Town easily accessible.

Great location. Minutes walk to town and beaches. The host were very friendly and kind. The room are small and cozy, really just to sleep but and outside area, with sofa and hammock, allows you to hang out and rest.

A gorgeous, unique experience!

I had a 3 night stay at the Beach Bungalows in Tamarindo and I do not have enough good things to say about it! The rooms are unique, beautiful and have wonderful amenities such as private hammocks and loungers. The property has a beautiful pool in the center and Shannon and her staff were gracious and attentive hosts. Its close enough to the city center that getting around on foot is easy but secluded enough to enjoy time to relax.

My friend and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Bungalow in Tamarindo! Our host was extremely helpful and gave incredible advice which led to us having the best possible trip. We will definitely return to this unique Airbnb when we go back to Costa Rica. It is truly the hosts personal touches and recommendations that made it so special to us.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalows during our honeymoon! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, all while being in a great area to walk anywhere in Tamarindo. We felt well taken care of by the staff and really felt like it was our only little world away from the chaos. We even got a special little message in our bungalow for our honeymoon which was such a nice personal touch. We had wonderful neighbours while staying. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully with our friends next time!

Beautiful well thought out property. Easy park, secluded from the main strip but close enough to the beach and all bars/restaurants. Pool is refreshing, beds are comfortable, breakfast is delicious. Nico was very welcoming and communicative, always said hello and let us know what was happening in town. If you are staying in Tamarindo, we would definitely recommend checking this out!

Property was a nice unique stay in tamarindo. The pool was the perfect temperature to offset the heat. It is close enough to the strip that you don’t need to can or drive. Owner and staff were all very kind and personable.

Quiet location in bustling Tamarindo. Small boutique property with outstanding staff. The bungalows are rustic and allow sound to easily travel through walls. They are small but comfortable. Most are on second floor which makes carrying luggage up and down a little tedious for us older folks. Easy walk to center of town and beach and refreshing pool on site make for a great getaway.

Shannon was an excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning sat above the pool area. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with daily maid service. A few minutes walk to the lively town and beach where all the action of Tamarindo is going on. The pool was great to cool down and relax in the hammocks and day beds under the shade. The bungalows are an excellent small, homely oasis to chill out and escape the corporate world. We would stay again with Shannon and her lovely staff.

Wonderful service, comfortable stay

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights (4 days). The communication was proactive and helpful, including tips for restaurants, things to do, etc. The accommodations were comfortable with fan/A/C included and the bath rooms were clean. The pool was quiet and private to the few groups staying at the B&B. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants and the beach, but well worth the value for good service and privacy.

We loved this property. So cute. The owners are very nice and helped us to find good spots around. The breakfast is great. Clean. Parking. It is near the street and a little noisy but all the construction in Costa Rica are not "soundproof" I recommand without hesitation.

This is everything i wanted and needed in the accommodation. The managers anticipate your wants and respond immediately. Friendly, warm, and generous hosts. The bungalows are soooo cool and quaint. Cozy is the best word to describe them. The pool was a much added benefit after a long day of sight seeing or morning refresher. The breakfast was served with much gusto. It was prompt and delicious. Made with care. I just cant say enough about this remarkable, clean, warm, friendly place. Have no hesitation in booking a reservation.

I love the bungalows. Me and my family occupied 3 bungalows. All built with timber and close to each other. All the bungalows have fans and AC. Every bungalow has downstairs and area with a hammock, a relax bed, and mats for yoga. They are so pretty and cute. The property is very well maintained. The pool was pretty, and clean. It is very close to the main road where you find restaurants, shoppings, and also very close to the beach. The owner and the staff were very nice! It was a great experience!

I can best describe The Beach Bungalows at Tamarindo as quirky, and I feel the 3-star designation is accurate. I wish someone would’ve outlined all of the things that I am going to, prior to my stay, so I could’ve made an informed decision. My original review is being cut short so I’ll include that on Google, but the gist is that the bungalows are quite uncomfortable, lack privacy and water pressure, but the location is nice and the owner is very accommodating. The property is also clean and safe.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at The Beach Bungalows was. As a young couple traveling to Costa Rica from the US who wanted access to the beach and night life, this was the perfect spot for us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the poolside day bed space under the Bungalows was one of our favorites! There was a safe in the room and the Bungalows locked and offered perfect security. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants, but was set back enough where it felt private and safe from the Main Street. The breakfast was great and the owner, Shannon, came to the Bungalows daily to greet new guests and be available for questions, to give recommendations on things to do and catch up with the people who were staying there. Shannon was wonderful and we highly recommend this stay!

What an amazing spot! Its secure and feel secluded when you're up in your bungalow or by the private pool but really you're only steps away from the beach where you can catch amazing sunsets and walk for miles! The breakfasts are all made on demand to suit your timing and so delicious! The owners are both so helpful and knowledgable of the area - I couldn't have asked for a better setup! (also great for remote work)

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, and great breakfast that was provided every morning. Beautiful views and was very peaceful and quite. With that said, it’s within walking distance of all bars, clubs, restaurants, beach etc. in Tamarindo. Definitely would recommend. Staff was very friendly and nice as well!

It was a unique stay. The property owner was very friendly and very helpful. My only complaint was that there is no air conditioning, but that’s my fault for assuming that all places do. It was extremely hot and humid. Other than that, it’s a good looking property and very nice staff and owner.
