The location to town was very walkable and it was close to a grocery story so we didn’t have to eat every meal out. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen or at least having that option. They rooms were very comfortable and was very relaxing.

Hacienda de Playa was the highlight of trip. We traveled with me, wife, and four teenagers. Bed and breakfast experience for entire family. Easy beach access, maybe 50 yards. Kids surfed every day. The best breaks were 300 yards down the beach…not bad. Although you can easily walk everywhere, having a golf cart was value add for grocery trips or late dinners. We waited for monkeys all week then last day they were everywhere. So cool! We went during rainy season but it only rained/down poured at night. My personal favorite spot was the lounge/cocktail pool. It was refreshing with opportunity to take in natural habitat. The ultimate highlight was the relationship developed with Annie (housekeeper). She is a kind and special person that made us feel special. She helped us celebrate my daughter’s boyfriend’s birthday. She is definition of Pura Vida.

Great experience at Hacienda del Pacifico! Our host Lexie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Proximity to Langosta to Playa Grande is perfect for a dream family vacation. Enjoy a short stroll down your own path to the Tamarindo break for beginner surfing, beach front massages, and fresh made ‘Coco-Loco’ cocktails! Property has great open floor plan, private outdoor villa area with pool and outdoor kitchen. We will absolutely return for another stay

This house is so beautiful! Lexie was always available and so wonderful to work with. The beach was basically across the street which made it really easy to go back and forth. You are close enough to town to walk to all the restaurants or take a 2 min uber. We saw lots of wildlife.. and lots of bugs since the house is open air, but it was a fun experience and the house makes you feel like you are in the jungle. Loved it!

Absolutely loved our stay - a group of 6 plus a baby (my wife, kids, son-in-law, grandson). The property is amazingly beautiful and in a great location. Lexi was always responsive to our needs, and the property is updated and clean. We would jog each morning on the beach (just across the street) then jump in the pool to cool off. When not doing planned activities, we spent plenty of time at the beach, and my daughter and I even learned to surf board! If we come to Tamarindo again, there's no question - we will want to stay here again!

Great stay in Tamarindo

Beautiful residence. Hacienda layout with open setting to kitchen and rooms. Staff great. Lexie responsive to messages The road to it is a classic CR poor surface, but not far off main road. Need to fix washer lid as difficult to start wash. About a 5-10 minute walk to south end of main area of Tamarindo. Just a couple minute walk down lane to beach.

Our group of 6, will stay here again for sure! Lexie made our stay seem less with answering all 3 million of my questions! All she said was true and easy and relaxing and superb! Beds were comfortableEverything was clean and tidyThe pool was refreshing The outdoor shower to rinse off upon returning from the beach was perfectA gorgeous beach with amazing sunsets is a 45 second walk…literallyPerfect location…a 10 minute walk into “down”townon the beach or the road…restaurants, food market, liquor store, shopping, bars all within 10 minutes walkGolf carts made life a lot easier even though we walked most everywhereAnester took fantastic care of us and cleaned/tidied up for us daily and made sure we had all we neededLeonel cleaned the pool and maintained the grounds and was super helpful as well. They both are also discreet and most days we didn’t even know they were there.Can’t say enough positive things.Thank you very much for ensuring our vacation was just that, a vacation!

The best trip!!

We stayed at Hacienda del Pacifico with our family of 8 (my husband and I, our 4 kids in their 20's and 2 of their girlfriends). The space was perfect for us - we spent a lot of time hanging out by the pool, playing games at the outdoor kitchen table or at night in the air conditioned living room. We cooked our own meals a couple times after shopping at the amazing farmers market on Saturday mornings - fresh fish, fruits and veggies, homemade sourdough bread, pastries! We also had two different chefs cook for us on two nights. We did a day long trip to Rio Celeste water fall, a sloth sanctuary and a coffee/chocolate farm - such a great day. We ate so well - so many great restaurants in town..Dragonfly, Tandoor and El Sapo were some of our favorites for dinner. Cafe Tico, Breaking Bread and Waffle Monkey were all great for breakfast. We also went to the Friday night beach BBQ at Hotel Capitan Suizo across the street. The proximity to the beach is amazing - some days we would sit at the beach and on windy days we would stay by our pool - but still close so we could run down for a quick dip in the ocean. I highly recommend renting a golf cart for getting groceries or just going into town when it is hot. We would walk up the street toward Langosta to the public beach access to watch the sunsets. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning in the rooms kept things cool. The house was kept perfectly clean by Anester every day. I highly recommend this house - we loved it!

Great property near everything !

It was a wonderful week with great weather. Lexie helped us to organize many activities from airport transport to surfing lessons and fishing trips. My two teenaged sons spent a lot of time surfing and the beach near the home has perfect waves for beginners to more advanced surfers. The housekeeper and groundskeeper were so helpful. We walked to reayaurants, shopping etc. we felt safe the entire time !!

Fantastic Home in a Perfect Location

Our family of 5 loved our stay at this property. It was the best location we could have asked for. Quiet and away from the noise and bustle, we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard and listening to nature. It was only a short walk to town, and an even shorter walk to Langosta. The home was spotless upon arrival, and kept that way by Anester and Leo. It was a pleasure to rent from Lexie, who was always available to answer questions or help when we needed it. She even arranged transfer to/from the airport for us. We especially appreciated the coffee, juice and fresh fruit in the home when we arrived. You cannot go wrong renting this home and we wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Starting Traditions

This place was absolutely spectacular, and we hope to stay at Hacienda del Pacifica again. It took us about 24 hours to adjust to outdoor living with our toddlers and babies, but honestly, we were so happy once we did. It’s a tranquil and relaxing way of life. The property is beautiful, we felt very safe, Lexi was amazing, quick to respond and very helpful. And we made a wonderful friend with Anester, the woman who comes and cleans the house. This is in a very convenient, quiet location, near the beach. I do recommend, renting the golf cart to get into town and explore easily, but it is definitely walkable if you don’t have toddlers and babies with you. We hope to visit again soon.

40th Birthday Perfection

We had the most beautiful experience in Tamarindo, Costa Rica! There were 7 of us girlfriends who have been planning a 40th birthday getaway for years! We couldn’t have had a more magical or memorable trip! The house was perfect, including location. We had a couple meals catered to the house and enjoyed a cacao ceremony/sound bath at the home as well. We were steps from the beautiful beach and just a walk from some amazing restaurants, shops and bars. Everything was beautiful, everyone was friendly, and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us and helping us create lifelong memories. Pura Vida!

Authentic Tamarindo Beach Stay

We loved Hacienda Del Pacifico! The house is beautiful! The pool was a perfect refresher after surfing at the beach. The location to the beach is excellent. And the wildlife we encountered was unbelievable—monkeys, iguana and a big crab! Highly recommend.

Amazing Vacation Home!

1000% would recommend this home! Location 10/10, privacy, cleanliness was insane, beautifully built, safe, pool was perfect size, and monkey visits were a bonus! House was exactly as advertised online and maid was amazing. Beach is 1 minute walk cross street. We enjoyed massages and dinner at Capitan Suizo hotel next door. Owner was extremely responsive and booked our transportation to and from airport. We will be back.

Perfect getaway!

We stayed with 4 couples. Each had our own bathroom attached to the bedroom. The outdoor space was beautiful. Loved eating our breakfast outside. Well equipped kitchen though we ate out for most dinner meals. Groceries were more expensive than I anticipated. The pool was perfect. A refreshing temperature. We saw monkeys in the neighbors trees and a few iguanas that snacked on the dropped fruit in the backyard. There was a gecko and small crab in our room but didn’t bother us. The housekeeper is there daily to sweep, clean and wash towels. The beach is just across the street between the neighbor houses. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. We were a short walk on the beach or by sidewalk to the downtown scene with lots of great food and shopping. We had an amazing time and would love to return with our kids. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

Perfect House and Location

We came to Tamarindo for a wedding, but didn’t want to stay at the hotel. There were 7 adults in our group who wanted something more private so we chose Hacienda del Pacifico. Pros: Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Courtyard area with pool and outdoor kitchen was AMAZING. Cleaning service came on certain days. Property felt safe and secure. Check in/out was very easy. Host was very responsive and helpful. Access to the beach was VERY convenient. House provided beach chairs, towels, ice chests. Cons: Our group had no complaints. Everyone enjoyed the home.

Can't say enough about this property. Everything was great. Close to town, beach and restaurants. The hacienda was fantastic. Love the outdoor living vibe. The kids loved the pool! Would definitely recommend it!
